SD625 in galaxy c7 getting 1k ... moreHow Sammy phone will get higher score. >> In multi core: SD625 is better when it point to collective work of her core, why? new tech tend to be better.
SD625 in galaxy c7 getting 1k higher score than other brand and what is reason to that circumstances. >> EVEN RN4X sd625 get it too. Nothing special! New tech, bigger RAM, optimization and so.
Then I'm asking you guys, for what purpose in daily use you have phone with tremendous high of multi core score? Many people dont have idea about it, someone who know should help.
The last graph on page 3, what is "pt" a measurement of? I've always wondered how the mhz of a processor doesn't give a good explanation of how fast it is. Could you explain (maybe in your Sunday q&a) what are some of the other factors that determine the speed and power of a processor chip? Like what makes an A72 more powerful than an A53 chip, what variables are changed to achieve the greater power when the 2 might be at the same mhz...?
Thanks very much for putting together this comprehensive review.
Two questions, if I may:
- would like to see SD425 & Helio P20 included in test results
- a little text on Cortex A35 & any reason why we haven't seen any yet would be much appreciated
Anonymous, 13 Feb 2017same soc on diferent model / brand will have diferent score... SD625 in galaxy c7 getting 1k ... moreOptimizations in Software...Camera Modules...Display type...The SoC isn't EVERYTHING in a phone, just many things.

Anyone guru here can explain ?
How sammy phone will get higher score?..
Another great tool in GSMArena's bag. Requires a lot of time and effort to put everything together nicely for which I say thank you. Great job guys!
Eyzerman, 12 Feb 2017Why are iPhone processors not included... Is it coz people would realize how far ahead apples ... moreGSMArena did you a favor and not included Single core result + Ax series processors else we all know which will be on top of list ;) and you got better reason to Justify iPhone prices(even though there UI certain part don't show that they using the most powerful mobile SoC )
I hope GSMArena reads this. I want to say well done for writing this article. I hope that you build on this. I've been a big follower since the early days of the site and you guys have ALWAYS been the resource for all things mobile.
People LOVE benchmarks. Here's to hoping that we see something akin to the Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gpu-hierarchy,review-33383.html) and DxO Mark Mobile Scores (http://www.dxomark.com/Mobiles). Having those kind of league tables will easily secure you guys with a steady stream of visitors.
Whilst nowhere near a complete list (like where's the Tegra processors, and the Mediatek MT8176?) this is still a great piece of work that I bet has been bookmarked by many people to come. Thank you GSMarena. Here's to more success to everyone in the team!
where is single-core benchmark? first you claim core number doesn't mean anything and then you post only multi-core benchmark
Why are iPhone processors not included... Is it coz people would realize how far ahead apples processors always have been compared to the android processors. Which to a certain extend justifies their higher price tag.
Nice. As a blogger you guys have done a really great work to put all this up. Thumbs up! Future updates will be great. More work is still needed to be done, the GPUs' and others. More lights on these terms and Smartphone components.
sutton0028, 09 Feb 2017i was actually talking about soc,
but if you want to compare phones
you may want to check th... moresd 625 is equivalent to p20 and there are under $150 sd 625 phone like redmi 4 pro, sd650 is faster than p20 and you can get it for $150.
x27 can be slightly powerfull to sd650 but overall sd650 is better in gpu, modems etc
The MT6592, for example, uses eight Cortex-A7 chips, all capable of running concurrently. And later models, like the MT6592, bump these up to Cortex-A53s. - Does not sound right :)
Please do a GPU guide.
I really like charts, it helps to know which are better.
Jose Porto, 07 Feb 2017Well, don't know about monopoly, but internal core development (Kryo and its SD830 incarnation... moreYou realize that Qualcomm is still designing custom cores, right? They announced a server level platform, last year, i believe.
Internally they absolutely still designing custom cores using the arch license.
It is an amazing article gsmarena!!
Please keep making more of them always
