Anonymous, 18 Feb 2017Yes, because this one is China-only and in China, you can copy whatever you wantVivo V5 Plus is also available in India at crazy high price of INR 28k. Who will ever buy this phone when you get OnePlus 3 for the same price!!!

The V5 Plus is the international variant of Chinese Vivo X9. They are assembling X9 in their Indian manufacturing unit, re-badging them as V5 Plus for the international markets. V5 Plus comes with full Google ecosystem support unlike X9 having passed the Google CTS test.

I use some of their previous flagships like X5Max & V3Max. They never do Android version upgrades but are very promt to roll out security updates. As for V5 Plus will forever be stuck in Marshmallow. I will never buy this phone due its worst price performance ratio. The Vivo V3Max with identical specs but more powerful Snapdragon 652 and memory card support at just INR 19k is a far better phone.

The V5 Plus is only for selfie maniacs!!!

I will show you how to make a cheap Chinese mid ranger

          1. copy&paste design from recent iPhone
          2. copy Several features from recent iPhone
          3. implement a low end chip
          4. implement one special feature (doesn't care if it is useless or not)
          5. price it for $ 300-400
          6. enjoy the money you get from dumb average people

An apparent threat of facing Apple in courts. But still these won't hurt Apple's sales as the Galaxy S and Notes do.

[deleted post]You can add Redmi 3s Prime also to that. Certain software elements resemble iOS rather than Android. The little time i spent with it made me feel that MIUI isn't android at all. And this Vivo one upped everyone in copying Apple to the core. Wonder why Apple doesn't sue these Chinese companies. Is it because they are from China, who doesn't care about patents and all?

AnonD-510098, 17 Feb 2017Not worth it at all. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus kills this phone in every way. It was better batter... moreOr even the Mi 5, you can have it for €170 - 200 in some places.

Not worth it at all. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus kills this phone in every way. It was better battery life, better design, better camera, better chipset (821) and cheaper!

Come on give Le Pro 3 a chance? This phone is just another crappy device that doesn't deserve a review (and full to boot) IMHO.
