The only two good things about HTC is sense UI and built quality.
Cannot comprehend all the pathetic hate from anti-HTC fanboys...The SD810 was a brilliant design choice to warm you up in winter and ensure you can cook an omelette on the rear surface while stranded in the wild
Rokka, 22 Feb 2017XD I laughed at the 'sigh' in key feature...810 is a joke now..SD810 devices sold at 300 dollars may still seem reasonable, though the 65x series still seem more powerful, other than the slower RAM and even bigger 28nm processing.
GSMARENA how will you call this phone a SEA DRAGON? with that amazing SD810 that phone can waperaize the entire SEA. PHONE LIKE ART
Why HTC Why????? Why do you need a 810 chipset phone??? Now is sinking time for HTC...
Pissed out at HTC while I red this review
Meanwhile Nokia and BlackBerry say "welcome to the club, m8"
That BoomSound tech won't last long. If they did like Samsung with their AdaptSound technology started with Lollipop, and the SoundAlive technology started with JellyBean... But now the hardware must be specific, and that's the risk.
By the way, did they lost a bet or what? The 810? The 653 would've been a smarter choice, but I guess they want the right to call it a flagship...
Boldy, 22 Feb 2017You mean 2015? No one used 810 in 2016. Mistake. Sorry
AnonD-92238, 22 Feb 2017In 2016 OEMs were trying to avoid 810 like plague, and then there's HTC, still using it in 2017.You mean 2015? No one used 810 in 2016.
I don't get it. A chooses which cost the biggest losses to anyone and everyone involved with it, including Qualcomm itself, why on earth would HTC consider it for a phone which they are going to sell as premium offering in 2017?
ahahaha bad battery life, sd810 with 3200mah is not a great couple!!!
i think no one is going to buy this phone..............
consumersmartphone, 22 Feb 2017SD810, I believe that HTC get it free from Qualcom after purchase some other chipset. No way t... moreExactly man i have said it earlier they must have got snapdragon 400 and 810 for free from Qualcomm for clearing their storage hahaha
SD810, I believe that HTC get it free from Qualcom after purchase some other chipset. No way to get success with invest in bad name chipset or they are smoking Gorilla Tobacco then getting high then making decision lol Even the half price of that, people will think again if they know history of SD810,
Once htc boasted themselves as Premium brand than anyone else and now it is fighting for survival and almost totally lost the brand value once it enjoyed. htc you have to learn a lot from OnePlus. Unjustifiable prices for phones with below par specs. OnePlus 3T128 gb with SD821 costs 35k in India and htc U Play with Helio P10 costs 39k. htc, you will not be getting any success with this kind of pricing and models. Even U Ultra is overpriced by atleast 10k.
AnonD-39937, 21 Feb 2017Why would you use the crappy Snapdragon 810 instead of a 653?! This is pure madness, HTC wants... moreThey are right on path to achieve that. From being the first Android OEMs to now 'also ran' and if they continue releasing products like then htc will become obsolete. Somewhere in my mind i think htc will be bought by Google completely in near future to achieve their interests in hardware business, and continue their Pixel line.
