I have to say. The first couple sunlight photos looked great actually. I didn't even notice the over sharpening right off the bat. Like zooming into the guys face. So good focus too. Of course this is daylight but still a great looking photo.
And the first building in low light. The balance between lighting was actually great. Very pleasing.
So imagine what they could have done with flagship grade tech
Android Modder, 17 Mar 2017dont joke her plz. G6 is a flagship for sure. you dont have one so dony judge it just coz its ... moreThose specs are straight from (early) 2016.
That's not a 2017 flagship. It literally has not one outstanding feature. In everything it is beaten by some 2016 phones (ram by chinese phones, bezels by mi mix and soon S8, SoC by Huawei and soon S8, battery by all Xiaomi phones and last year's Samsung, heck by G5 even given that that was swappable; everybody is waterproof at this point. Software is sh*t compared to the likes of Sony Google or oneplus. Do you want more?)
[deleted post]dont joke her plz. G6 is a flagship for sure. you dont have one so dony judge it just coz its using an older chipset. havent u seen its review. every single review of it has positive feedback. except for its price. otherwise this phone is cool. i just hope this does not has the bootloop issue
Good Phone. But I will buy the P10 because of CPU performance and battery life.
honestly, I really love the LG's camera but I think its design quite weird.
And again, a mediocre battery life for a flagship. It's been like this since LG G3.
It not make sense at all, lame phone with lame spec with lame performance with lame battery life with lame cam sensor but high price tag. No chance this phone gonna beat OP3T! Cam gonna beat MATE 9/pro, battery oh God even Sony can do it better.
BigDaddy99, 17 Mar 2017Good job lg on getting 2k contrast whereas Xperia XZ get only 1.3k.Good job LG for 72h battery rating lol
This device cant compete with Mate 9 line, S8 line, Pixel successor, iPhone 8.
Even beat by Mi note 2 lol, lame G6! Imagine if Mi 6 beat it again, people gonna get crazy.
Talk about availability, please dont mention LG phone, their TV or AC yes it available very wide but not phone.
BigDaddy99, 17 Mar 2017Good job lg on getting 2k contrast whereas Xperia XZ get only 1.3k.Enjoy your fail of a phone
Good job lg on getting 2k contrast whereas Xperia XZ get only 1.3k.
Chintu bhai, 16 Mar 2017Honestly,my opinion is that Lg failed again.Samsung gonna annihilate them again. They have no c... moreI laugh on you because even Apple can't match with Samsung or perhaps the only OEM that can compete with them... Let alone LG Mobile. They are not even available here in south east asia. They are a global brand but not available everywhere like those two other OEM I mentioned. They even hard to match with chinese OEM like xiaomi, Huwawei etc... Note I'm talking not just about popularity, availabily and ability to compete, but also about R&D etc... Samsung is very powerful to compare with failing company - LG, No matter how hard they try, they will never have a chance. This is reality.
TeamAndroid, 16 Mar 2017I've just read that IMX258 is on Xperia XA form 2016 and that is $200 low-end phone also same ... moreI would rather have single camera with up to date sensor,
rather than two two years old sensors at the back!
GSM Arena counted the price is funny..
1 new sensor = 1+1 old sensor haha.. that's doesn't cut it for me
Reading this review, somehow seems that LG have no ambition with G6
Having SD821 chipset is forgivable, but:
- 2 years old camera sensor
- unimpressive bezel and no 2.5D screen
- average battery life
- audio quality is not loud enough and DAC only for selected countries
I like G2 and hope LG will rise but I'm gonna skip this phone
Just wait month or two until S8 hit the market, and this phone will retail for 500$ at most.
And for that amount we can really consider it as a awesome value proposition, with all pro's and cons.
DantE O2, 16 Mar 2017extra features for corea only? alright why would i buy a phone from a racist company? i won't.No point in buying a phone with inconsistent hardware across the market.
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2017https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIwIE7A-ZMUThe Pixel's video capture looks more colourful, sharper and brighter than the G6 but the G6 looks much clearer in close-up shots whereas the Pixel looks blurry.
My verdict is that the Pixel looks better overall in terms of contrast, colour and brightness but it fails in very close shots while the G6 takes the crown in the macro department. So the G6 wins in macro video capture while the Pixel wins in overall video capture.
