This will sell on looks alone. But as per usual Samsung retains the screen, camera and sound quality supremacy in the business. This S8 adds further eye candy.
Anonymous, 30 Mar 20171 agree with you on size but to each his own
2 still the biggest for mainstream Mobile device... more- but this isn't improvement
- 60 fps is much smoother
- i don't need s pay. i use yandex money. but mifare classic is a transport card standard, most popular in europe. and you can't do anything with them with exynis devices.
- wireless display. miracast. etc.
I cannot imagine what would happen if the exploding battery fiasco happens again despite this so called 8 point safely test
We don't want an 18.5/9 bezelless display with rounded corners and mono speaker under the phone, which is crappy for photo and video watching... We want an bezelless 16/9 display with front stereo speakers, that's simply perfect!

AnonD-633729, 30 Mar 2017Most of your stated features are gimmick! No, slow motion videos is useful, example you can capture the sports, versus, dancing, moving animals/objects....so much more.

But yeah, no reason for me to go smaller anymore. Had 3.5", 3.7" and 3.8", a few ~5"'s, then saw the 6" Nexus 6 (5.96") in a local store and went to test it... Had to bring it with me, fell completely in love with it. :) Switched to 5.9" phone about 2 weeks ago. I'd like a bigger screen, but at least battery life is amazing.

Cassy O, 30 Mar 2017LOL, unfortunately you got the hardware issue, not everyone experiences the same issue. You ne... moreSamsung rejected to repair it. Service stated - it is by design. And you cab see 100+page thread on xda about it. Even those shots of S8 above still have this problem.
Therefore those TN viewing angles of AMOLED are designed to be so.
after seeeing this i feel the lg G6 is better in many ways as it should be more durable to sudden impacts or drops....and anyways the curved edges have a limited and impractical use....! lets see what the nokia 8 brings to the table...!!!
Been using my GN4 since i returned the Note 7. Aside from the camera it is awesome.
I was really hoping there was a dual camera and was all set to get the S8+... will probably wait for the Note 8 and see if it gets it. Not sure why Samsung is dragging the chain on a feature that was in many 2016 phones???
AnonD-637503, 30 Mar 2017the question is... can these slabs endure a torture test like the nokia 6 mid-ranger had?I dont think these can survive sudden drops.
JackTheIPhoneKiller, 30 Mar 2017Or one can get a Galaxy A7(2017), which where I live costs 490$. A much balanced overall phone... moreIsn't a7(2017) also fragile glass? Also it's a midrange which you are comparing with flagship of same company. Enjoy performance of sd625 level chipset and inferior cameras. You get what you pay for
