I'm shocked by the bezels too. That's a big no go in 2017.Even in 2015 en 2016 the bezels of the Sony phones felt unnecessary, due to the lack of a home button on the phones. They're playing safe with their phones and that's killing in this business.
Thanks for this review. I saw other camera samples and I got a bad feeling... And sadly the feeling wasn't wrong. As much as I like Sony, the design and their Xperia-Brand - for smartphone cameras there are simply better options. I had the Z, Z2, Z5, X and XZ, but always the same problem with the camera: I don't want to take photos only in sunshine. I really can't understand why they are not able to produce a good or better low light experience. And so I just ordered the S8.
Another crap camera with small battery and high price.come on Sony did u learn something year to year?
AnonD-234961, 08 Apr 2017Onto the battery life section, not good, next ! :) ahahaha, plus its FHD .. lmao...! Battery is the best for sony! lol
It's not the flaghsip for gods sake, the upcoming xz premium is. Anyway, I dont mind a full HD screen
Whenever considering their phones, but just to be frightened by their big bezels. Good specs phones are attempting but with big bezels may scare would-be customers away...
Really hope they could consider seriously change the design in the following phones.
"And despite the claims for a redesigned lens, we still see corner softness though to a slightly lesser extent.
Just as before, there is a considerable amount of noise and noise reduction artifacts, which don't look good when pixel peeping at 100%."
Whoa, after all these years... These problems remain to exist. Artifacts really do look bad.
So the only difference between XZs and XZ is 1 more GB of ram and slightly better camera.
I used to be a straight up sony fanboy but this is just retarded.
