No matter how hard and great HTC will do, some stupid people will come and say bad things about htc. This is the best flagship of 2017 and whether you like it or not HTC is the king of 2017
just a small note gsmarena: if multicore benchmarks were conducted with the same number of cores used by the benchmark, apple's devilishly brilliant implementation would still win.
Mallalk, 16 May 2017No offence my friend, personally I don't need a fantastically sounding device. But I would ce... morethere won't any major improvements in camera sensors except for Sony's new flagship. And you said photography is your hobby.... I saw how "good" that sensor used by Sony was. Though 960 fps is cool. Any phone without gimmick you say. I agree MI6 is cheaper but is it available everywhere? I don't think so. Plus no warranty on 450$ plus phone(I'm including import duties and resellers margin) is a deal-breaker for quite a few. I do agree cameras have become stagnant lately but you can't defy physics anyways. I'd prefer better sound to that Bezel less display any day. Plus s bloat. And my friend has a HTC 10 he's enjoying it. So am I my MI5. It's available here otherwise I wouldn't even consider importing it since custom department here is messy
Mallalk, 17 May 2017OK then,,,, 1) speakers are not something one would usually consider in buying a flagship 2... moreIf you dont consider speakers when buying a flagship , then you dont need a flagship my friend obviously.

1) speakers are not something one would usually consider in buying a flagship
2) camera- yes definitely a good point to decide buying any flagship and as I was telling whatever bla bla major site boast about expensive flagships having good cameras, in real life usage mi5 camera was equally good as my s7 edges camera. So I'm pretty sure there won't be much difference this time, too. Nevertheless if you put a s8 side by side with the u11, you will moat certainly get more accurate colours and in focus shots with the s8 ( considering history of both companies ).
3)screen- well my friend if have ever used a mi flagship you wouldn't say such things.
And we all know Samsung's infinity display is by far ahead of any other displays on the market. So yet again s8 is the true flagship.
4) Have anyone considered microphone quality when buying a s8 or iPhone 7 plus. I'm sure nobody ever does and my dear pls don't be silly. Microphone quality compared in flagships???
5) Good point updates- as far as I know by my own experience, updates are good for a flagship until the next flagship arrives( and as I told below, two of my friends had serious issues with their HTC s after software upgrade ), after that updates bringup bugs and mostly slowdown your phone. ( Only apple has a good reputation for optimising their old phone with updated software)
So my friend clearly you may agree with next to a s8 this totally outdated(+u11 doesn't even have HTC premium metal finish, back is beautiful but until you put a back cover, right??)
I'm trying to tell you that mi6 is a budget flagship packing highest end specs for a bargain price.

J o m s, 16 May 20173000mAh battery? LoL no thank youThe same goes for the S8 then, it's also $50 pricier carrier-locked 😏
really bad at naming..
HTC ONE M8
Mallalk, 16 May 2017Compared to mi6;
Where is mi6 benchmarks(only antutu)??
All the reviews highlighted mi6 has ... moreyou only speak about the front view (specs, benchmark-LOL) of the phone and the price. how about:
1) speaker quality
2) camera quality
3) screen quality
4) microphone quality
5) updates, and many more
it is irritating many ppl like you defending mi because of it is cheaper. when people comparing flagship vs flagship, it is the best offering of the company, so the price doesnt matter if the customer willing to buy it.
oh, u work for mi? sorry
VoloKin Project, 16 May 2017So many people fooled by some 3rd party corrupt website like DXO. Unbelievable.Hi, do you trust this camera comparison:

As for the camera shaking when you squeeze, HTC have said they have anticipated that and put something in place to counteract it (probably a very small delay) - you'll most likely mainly be squeezing it for selfies and not for the rear camera.

But I would ce... moreXioami is very interesting to me. I can't wait for the Mix 2 as I'm changing from sprint (leasing my phone) to t-mobile in the next month, so I have to buy something. The original Mix seems too fragile for my clumsy self, might be too big (my 5.0" screen feels too big at times) and I want SD835.
My biggest worries with the Mi phones is servicing the phone (can I just go to a t-mobile store, sprint store, etc. and replace a broken screen?) and the IP ratings. I'm nervous to take the plunge, although I almost have like 3 times in the past month!
As far as HTC goes, the Edge Sense, USonic earphones, and ability to interact with Alexa are very intriguing to me. Enough to overcome the 3.5mm jack. The battery life will be on par with other flagships. The bluetooth is a bummer, but I rarely use it now. Also, I've never had an HTC slow down on me like my galaxy did. Can't speak for anyone else besides blackberry, but that was years ago!
Somehow HTC has hit the rock. That squeeze feature is a mere marketing gimmick. A dedicated camera button would have been ok. The moment yoy squeeze to capture your selfie, trust me your hands will definitely shake and pictures will look blur.Impression without expression is depression.

Is the design practical when you drop it? For example, the S8 design proved to be impractical when a drop test was conducted in Germany; the glass broke from the edge that extends all the way to the front.
