Why sony doesn't want to be a competitor for samsung and apple? while sony have good phones like this i think they can be in first 3 ranks .. sony isn't in its true place .. xz premium is one of the best phones out there if i don't say best phone

Samsung flagship phones are highly optimized since S6 edge and doesn't lag even after 2 years, I'm an S6 edge user and used it till now tho I also bought iPhone 7 but it could never become my primary phone due to everything it lacks. I use Samsung Galaxy A5 2017, it might be midrange phone, but that phone is laggy, and I hate the button on the phone(I love the on screen button).
I choose A5 2017 over XA1 because it has more feature than XA1 ,this is the reason I buy A5 2017. But I realize that my choice is wrong. I should buy the Xperia Z5 but it has Micro USB. Xperia X was my first choice but it is more expensive(Malaysia)
So my point here is Samsung phone is laggy. But I like the water resistance body, fingerprint scanner, design, fast charge and AOD(I love AOD) feature on A5 2017, which are missing on Xperia XA1(exclude AOD and design).
