bcoz of that blind shootout revealed all samfan think that flagship is the best lol... oh comon still cant beat old pixel and also we have new king HTC U11 but of coz when Iphone8 come out the throne will change :)

S8 is good phone but only because S7E was that. It hasn't improved the camera (according to Dx0 mark), the performance (exynos 8895 is only 5% faster than exynos 8890) , the ram (same 4gb) or the pixel density.
It only became taller which to many is actually a problem, not a good. Especially given how it impacted the fingerprint placement and one handed use...
So don't be too happy about S8. Samsung uses some of the same tactics that Sony does ("more of the same"), they just happen to s*ck less...

So full picture are from xzp are more detailed then others but at 100 % crop the other two are slightly better wtf

I have a question - aren't there 3rd-party camera apps that apply their own processing and bypass whatever the maker's camera app would have done? Does it ---really-- matter what the manufacturer's processing is like? Or are there too many trade-secrets & that sort of thing for anyone to be able to make an app that comes close to good processing on someone else's hardware...?

Sony is no longer superior in any terms
How can u expect advancement in Sony phones while the company is.cutting its costs in everything.
Sony known as great in media and picture.
But what about phones. They can't make or prefer low quality or same old chipset of sound with very low loudness. My very old W995 that is more than 8 years old is superior than nowdays Sony phones.
They can't match the quality of other competitors in screen or camera.
They have the technology but they didn't incorporate it in their phones for some reason . they only know why

All these 800 comments from fanboys were about how Sony camera is better than S8 and makes it a better phone but the blind shootout revealed everything. Don't fall for Megapixel counts, image processing is what matters the most and it's clear by the comparison where XZP is found even inferior to LG G6. It's just some of these anti social people wants to hate successful things they can't afford, that's why they keep pouring hate on Galaxy S8, if they'll be given Nokia 1100 and S8 to choose better phone, they are so desperate that they'll say 1100 is better. Respect S8 for bringing the best smartphone experience and best computing experience in a handheld device.

Until they mentioned it in the blind shootout I didn't even notice that this phone doesn't have OIS. That explains low light photos. Too bad, especially for a "premium" phone, but the rest is pretty great.

HTC Desire - 18 months
Sony Xperia P - 3 years
Sony Xperia Z1 Compact ~ 3 years and counting.
I wouldn't say --necessarily-- that I fanatically follow Sony. But they always have the best combination of the exact features I value: compact, stylish, unique. And as you can see from the times, also great longevity, in part because not many phones suited my taste but also simply because they kept going and going as long as I needed them to.
I would -happily- hold out for an XZ Compact if I had any indication there actually is likely to be one on the cards, but the chrome and the pré-order bonus is a big draw for this XZ P.. ::) heh

for me upper and lower bezels doesn't matter if phone has front stereo speakers ,, and 13MP front camera ..
side bezels are minimum ..
and audio quality ( clear base that sony phones can provide,is just awesome) . even low price earphone is sufficient for xperia phones
