Don't care about the fingerprint scanner as nobody uses it anyway. Sony's UI is simply boring, they need to fix it up. Even the available themes are boring, same ol thing from Sony.

I mean really S... moreYou do know that in those small screens there is no difference between 1080p and QHD, right? I mean you have to get close than 20cm to see any difference but at that distance you get cross eyed anyway so it's not practical and nobody does it.
Also S8 is not a real QHD+. Due to the subpixel rendering you actually get the sharpness of a ~1300p screen.
Lastly this phone's screen is 4k in fact so you don't actually lose any smoothness in the image due to the lower resolution.
But I agree with you. 4k for movies is I'll adviced. It should have been 1080p there too, the difference is too small to matter. They should had enabled 4k during VR and VR alone ... Nowhere else does it make any sense. As always Sony messed that part once again...

The only thing which resist me for buying this phone is screen
Even i can't able to use it as a qhd for MY normal uses i have to be with 1080p only
If this is done that i can use whd res. In it for normal use then i am one step closer in getting this phone.

The pictures looks accurate than the galaxy s shit. The s8 camera took fake colours so your argument is not valid. You just mad because Sony did better than samdung. Even GSM arena praises th screen and camera haha. BTW amoled has radioactive colours while the xz premium has natural colours

Are there any content made in that resolution?
It's the 807ppi that makes your screen sharper. S8/S8+'s 2K screen would look inferior to the XZ Premium in 1080p because the 807 pixels are still lighted up and makes the screen super sharp

In relation to low light camera performance. The S8 kicks the XZP... you can't argue against these GSMa photos.
