There is also alot of variables here. I know the LG has 2 cameras at the rear. I wonder which one is used.
The G6 and S8 almost have the same Megapixels (12 &13) so when cropped in 100% they would cover a similar frame or area.
"A" and "B" covers almost the same or similar area crop. "C" is slightly different.
Unless gsmarena did some resizing or shot the 19Mp Sony in a lower resolution to mimic 12-13Mpx

One rule we're still sticking with is that phones don't change letters between test images - Phone A is the same one in scene 1, scene 2, and so on.

Not only that, but you can also see window frames in A, while C has only gaping holes for the window panes. Foliage on the A also looks a bit more natural overall. I guess most of the people went with C becouse the still before where better so everyone just clicked C without much deliberation

This is how all phone camera reviews should be made:
- find the blurry areas of the photos: take photos of scenes with high detail, for example in daytime in the park with grass and trees (photos from many phones have blurry edges and corners or everything is blurry except the center area)
- take a dusk and night photo in the same park as above
- do the same in the street: day/dusk/night (don't take photos of only light-up buildings like in the XZ Premium review, because they are useless, there is a lot of light so it's too easy for the camera so the photo should look towards the road instead)
- take indoor photos: go to one corner of the room and take a photo of the whole room with these configurations: medium (indoor) light and LED flash off/on, no light (pitchblack room) just the phone's LED flash
(I hate when in reviews nobody take photos with the LED flash, but even if they test the flash, they take only macro or close-up photos, which are useless. That's why reviewers should take photo of the whole room with furnitures, so there would be at least 3-5 meters of distance. It is the the best way to test the LED flash photo capability of the phones.)
