When it comes to pixel-peeping, Sony always loses. Where Sony shines is overall picture. I dare GSMArena to do a comparison without zooming in at all (rarely do people do that in real life anyway). People will find that Sony's colors are usually much better.
AnonD-368020, 18 May 2017The whole point of this camera comparison is to disgrace Sony's camera (B). Sony can never get... moreSony is A...
i love the xperia phone....
Gsmarena should have given us the option to click on the photos and zoom in.
The whole point of this camera comparison is to disgrace Sony's camera (B). Sony can never get good reviews here. Waiting for MKBHDs next blind camera comparison with Sony. Peace.
I'm a Samsung Galaxy S8 owner but surely the Huawei P10 should have been included in this shootout?
I kinda feel that phone B doesn't even deserve to be in this shootout.... Which phone is this bad I wonder?
And C seems to kick butt. Could be S8 I guess.
And in Video Daylight, I'd go with A overall.
AnonD-77186, 18 May 20175. Video Daylight So many votes to C, but A is much better, you can see mountains at the back. Yes I agree, even sky is blue. For C it's just colourless.
5. Video Daylight
So many votes to C, but A is much better, you can see mountains at the back.
AnonD-669988, 18 May 2017A: G6, B: Sony, C: Samung Samsung have to aggressive post processing. That is what I thought, too; plus, gsmarena also gave us the hint by placing the phone in order.
Someone Else, 18 May 2017Ummm, what about the iPhone 7 Plus and the Google Pixel? Adding the OnePlus 3T would be a nice... moreI see what happened here. iPhone 7 already had a blind shootout. LG G6, P10, and P10+, albeit not the blind type, were pitted against each other on a previous shootout. As for the case of iPhone 7 Plus, Google Pixel, Pixel XL, and OP3T, I guess they would have belonged to a "previous" blind camera shootout that didn't happen
Anonymous, 18 May 2017Haha, it's Sony. Sony always struggled with everyting ... Sony is a jokeWhat about you?, how can you evaluate your royalty?.
AnonD-523334, 18 May 2017Tried hard, but sadly, until I don't know what is exact color, pattern and texture, my vote wi... moreI am with you everything you say, people thinks that the over sharpen and over exposure of c which is obviously the s8 is a good camera performance, there should be a 4th shooter which a professional dslr camera to know at least which is showing the right colors and exposure..
I think phone B's camera might be broken. I looked through many camera samples of the LG G6, Galaxy S8, and the XZ Premium on the net (even on GSMArena's own camera review) and none of them looks anything like phone B. As far as I can tell, all of them took great photos, with each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Simon, 18 May 2017The fact you guys voted C on the last one, which is an oversharpened mess makes me really weir... moreExactly overexposed and over sharp, they obviously knew that it is the s8.
OK here is my take on this A : G6 , B : XZ Prem/ , C: S8 i think the processing gave the away all & all im so disappointed in 2017 flagship cameras so far (only i like the p10 plus a bit better) im waiting for note8 , wana see Samsung's take on dual camera so far (again) huawei implementation is very good imo but what if there could be a 3 lens camera(s) 1 monochrome 2 color & last 3 a wide angle , i would make such phone & name it GORGON :)
Phone C must be Xperia Z
The fact you guys voted C on the last one, which is an oversharpened mess makes me really weirded out.
AnonD-523334, 18 May 2017Sorry guys, but after seeing how much B struggled in low light, I think B can't be S8. After a... moreHaha, it's Sony. Sony always struggled with everyting ... Sony is a joke
