Haven't got hand to the Sony and LG yet. Try the s8 are with a super fast camera. Sony even the xz, they got one very very big problem, after a photo had been taken, the phone will freeze by 1-2 seconds before u can zoom to view the photo. It happens to most of the Xperia phone, even a p9 lite don't have this problem. I'm a Sony (playstation) fans here, hopefully they can solve this out.

Agreed. C is definitely the S8. B might be LG, as I'm familiar with its destructive noise reduction in #3 and #4 looks very familiar.

In the daylight stills, while C is pretty much noiseless, it's also really soft, which is visible in the clock and the details in the patterns, particularly the honeycomb pattern which is a total mess. A strikes a good balance between noise reduction and sharpening, B is just not as good at either thing as A or C.
In the dark, C blows the other two away with resolved detail. A isn't bad, but loses some of it's edge from earlier when the lights are low. B is appalling. It's almost like they turned off the artificial lights altogether when they were shooting with it.
The video frames are very very close, and there isn't much in it but I've gone with B because of the job it does with the foliage. The buildings and sky are all very similar, but A and C have turned the trees into two-tone watercolours, whereas B manages to capture more of the detail.
So I'd guess A is the G6, B is the XZ and C is the S8. The S8 camera has been shown to be particularly good in lowlight, the G6 just a generally good shooter, and the XZ Premium failing to match expectations for its sensor and pricetag. So unlikely that anyone has paid for this shootout given that there is no distinctive winner. Unless LG and Samsung paid to make Sony look bad....

Phone C is the S8, most certainly. It has 1.4 um pixels, the Sony and LG have much smaller pixels and the low-light capability suffers a lot.

Just curious that g6 only uses imx258 but can produce good picture as other flagships? Anyone know why? What is the technology?

Why are everybody so hellbent on assuming it to be a fake. The results are way clear! And now a days whether the hate boys like it or not Samsung does have a good camera, although it tends to over expose the photos and the phone itself is way costly. But it is what it is. Even S6 has a great camera for 2017.

Hi GSMArena, when doing such (blind) comparisons, it would be really nice if you could also give a similar crop of the image from a DSLR so we know what the thing being photographed actually look like. (Just a suggestion) :)

Maybe you should just accept that these tests aren't paid for its just the XZP has a poor camera (as I've been saying for a while now).
