This Moto G5 plus camera takes the worst pictures I've seen. Even my old Moto G3 did a better job. HDR sucks. I know this is because of the software, since the sensor is quite good and you can find online forums where people report excellent results after rooting the phone and installing the Google cam. Sadly, this is not straightforward to do, and no other camera software that I've tried was capable of improving the picture quality

Totally a bad products . With in a week of purchase Mobile not functioning. Even we approach your authrised services center and customer care . No response to us .we were cheated for purchasing Motorola products.

Without opting battery saver when I lock the phone screen gets little blacken.
Is it normal.
Also the sent text messages shows wrong details regarding 'date and time' in details/info in "i" tab.
What are these two issues?

They try to save money by selling original parts in the market at higher prices and using aftermarket cheap fixes for their customers in warranty devices.

then from the testing menu go to phone info and set preferred network type to LTE only

San16195, 14 Aug 2017Is e Compass is essential for Navigation?I don't know clear usage of this.Well we can use google maps without compass , its working fine with GPS. Obviously with compass sensor navigation could have been faster and easier though !!

Honestly speaking this phone is only good for its camera and battery backup and not for technical people. This phone lacks the basic features of " additional hotspot managing " like the no. Of devices attached etc. This phone do not have call recorder. You have to download apps from play store for every new tasks which makes it very fishy. Not even the basic voice recorder. Also does not have cast screen feature without buying a Chromecast device. My last phone Lenovo A7000 was better which was only 9500.
