Not satisfied with moto G 5 plus. We have purchased a month ago. They have changed mother board.
Anonymous, 25 May 2017Nokia's is different than this lenovo Moto UI.. infact it doesnt have actual nougat UI.wrong info
Nice to see the review is being worked on. I'm still hoping to see the audio quality and battery life results soon.
Aloof, 24 May 2017If you don't like Moto ui , I bet you won't like Nokia's too, right?Nokia's is different than this lenovo Moto UI.. infact it doesnt have actual nougat UI.
Aloof, 24 May 2017Lol, if everyone thinks like you, leeco will make all major brands bankrupt, but it never will.Well that's because eui is basically cr*p. Put that hardware with stock Android and better camera with similar price and there you go..

techknow, 23 May 2017Rubbish Lenovo phone with a Moto logo on it. Seen the device and its terrible. Even the ui is aarghIf you don't like Moto ui , I bet you won't like Nokia's too, right?
Motorola I don't think provides service to there customers , they only provides defected cell phones and rest is your duty to use. No problem will be solved at Service Centers.
I got the defected piece in Starting itself which I managed to return and get a new defected cellphone. You will be asked to wait for a month to listen that they don't know when it will be repaired, especially with the service center situated at Yaswant plaza Indore and even also in Bhopal.
Within warranty period you will understand about its poor performance and poor Service at service center. Choosing a Moto is no sense.
Problem faced in warranty period- no touch response, display ,over heating, hang issue etc.
Still in service center from a long period

It has nothing to do with hardware let alone battery of a phone. Also being no 1 pc maker doesn't change the fact that Lenovo's Chinese. When Lenovo came they fired almost all employees of Motorola's American arm so yeah Moto is the new vibe
AnonD-596148, 22 May 2017Motorola aka lonova also Chinese... Can't beat rn4 at least in India. .. What people are forgetting is 1. Lenovo is the number one PC maker in the world. 2. When they bought Motorola Mobility they've gained access to all the Motorola's facilities in the world, not only China. Xiaomi is China based ONLY. Just look at the logo from the Motorola smartphones batteries, they are all manufactured by Motorola Solutions (high quality).
Hope the camera does not suffer from the defective and poor quality glass that was there in Moto G4+ which irked a lot of buyers!
This should get some hate for those bezels. For crying out loud, even Sony has smaller bezels!
The design team behind the Moto G5 Plus certainly took inspiration from Microsoft's Lumia 950 XL. Even the camera app is strikingly similar.
Anonymous, 23 May 2017Lenovo is also a roadside OEM. If I give you a Micromax phone with Apple lable on it will you ... moreI'm sorry mate, but you're right, Ximi Note 4 is better. I was wrong with my thinking. And no mate, I haven't touched a Note 4, I think, cause I don't see any infection on my hand yet and I'd like to keep it that way.
Finally, the budget king is here!
Lol nailed every smart phone in its criteria specially xiaomi rdn4 terrible software and camera lmao.. And this budget king crown is also given by the biggest tech reviewer Mkbhd etc. so there is no point of arguing ..
All hail king Moto g series
Okay, this review from the Indian subcontinent is too harsh. First of all the Moto G5 Plus offers flagship camera specs for a mid-range smartphone, the camera settings options are great and the image quality is very good too (as viewers can see & as you yourself have said).
Then why does the last line say "Overall, a satisfactory performance....". That is a very good performance especially from a mid-range and definitely not just "satisfactory". Infact, even many flagships of today don't have Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.7 aperture.
