Being a new phones, it's can't even match the benchmarks of xiaomi redmi note 3SD, which is two years old and cheaper. Being a Moto G user before is Very disappointing!

The author(s) should take a look on Moto's forums and see the huge issue Verizon customers are having. You can't use the phone with 4gLTE enabled. Call quality is very very bad. Motorola doesn't seem to be interested in resolving the issue.

Lenovo isn't as good on updates as Motorola was - Moto G5 Plus will apparently get only one major Android update.

AnonD-596148, 22 May 2017Motorola aka lonova also Chinese... Can't beat rn4 at least in India. .. So you feel proud that India is floated with crap like Xiaomi and all that? Who cares really? OEMs like Vivo, Micromax, Leleco or something rules India, because anything priced low will sell here in millions.

This phone is the best phone available at around 15k INR mark, end of story. Comparing this with them Chinese OEMs who will be out of picture in no time is beyond stupid.

Your no name brand chinese phones will stay on the same version forever and you will have to root, lose warranty and swap roms. G5 Plus is super good out of the box. Stop comparing a high quality product with cheap chinese junk.

Moto G5 plus is mostly good but internal memory should have been more as even 200$ phones have started offering 64 Gb. 32 GB at 260 $ is just too low for an Android phone. Also is design is crap.

With their appalling record on software updates, I would never consider buying another Motorola phone. Lenovo are destroying the loyalty that Moto phone users have had for these phones.
