Dang, just bought the wife a P10 lite 3 weeks ago after her A5(2015) decided to die just for the hell of it :-(
Could have saved myself £100 :-/ with the P8 Lite (2017)
However it was £80 cheaper than a replacement A5(2017)
But 4gb ram should make it last a little longer if they are good for getting OTA updates.
To be fair she loves the phone as as we all know a happy wife - happy life :-D
Might have been worth the extra £100 after all
It does look a lot more expensive than the money we paid.
Well done to CPW for a good deal as its went up in price since then.
I never get my head around idea of selling such devices... Because for the same price you can get new last gen flagship, like P9. You get better device with better hardware and price difference that I saw last time in shop was maybe 30-50Euro. If you get it online you can find it even cheaper.
Anonymous, 02 Jun 2017Strange that the P8 Lite (2017) is pretty much identical but much cheaper - what type of game ... moreYeah, the p10 lite is mostly identical to the p8 lite 2017 (Display, camera, Chipset, etc.) except the shape of the fingerprint sensor at the back, the emui version and the storage option (p8 lite 2017 only have 16gb of internal memory)
Hi, could anyone explain the meaning of travel llite for non-native English speakers? Thanks.
Thanks for making this reviews, this should help quite a lot of people asking questions in those Huawei 2017 midrangers threads.
cmon gsmarena , you dont have to sugarcoat it. That gpu running a 1080p screen is a joke. it will struggle with many games at high settings with that weak gpu.
The CPU is acceptable, the GPU is not.
no Gorilla Glass is not a shortcoming for me, Gorilla glass cracks your whole screen not just that part where it got hit, better to put tempered

Strange that the P8 Lite (2017) is pretty much identical but much cheaper - what type of game is Huawei playing with its customers? If its priced higher, it should be clear that this is due to higher specs. I've heard that the P8 lite (2017) is somehow inferior in its speed and its oleophobic coating of the screen but not sure that this is the case given this review.
J o m s, 01 Jun 2017This is OK if the price is less than $150 otherwise such a lousy phone IMHO.lol in Pakistan it costs around $300
I am using this phone from past one month.it does support fast charging and come with the fast charger too. Initially standby battery draw was quite high but after recent update this issue solvd. On single charge i am getting more than 5hrs screen on time all time 4G on. Performance is absolutely flawless. No issue with daily routine usage.

My mom and sister both got this phone and they are satisfied with it.
I am not Huawei fan but many people like this brand.
