The Xperia XA1 Ultra (62h) battery endurance rating is better than Xperia C5 Ultra (68h):
the bezel on the right side of the phone
near to the volume buttons
is slightly thicker than the one to the left side
a no go for me
SOny coud have knocked this out of the park but they held back again. I dont kno why they keep punishing themselves.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2017Even my 3 years 6months Xperia C is working very well.Yes. And you see it yourself. Sony is the smoothest android out there.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2017That way you end up w very bad things. Only certain years produced great phones. Others not so... morethat's your opinion , I think SAMSUNG made good phone ,only bad thing is aspect ratio of the screen and as usual their software but they made some other small improvements... LG is asking to much for SD821 and midrange camera sensor and they also opted for crappy aspect ratio like samsung did but at least they finally improved the looks abandoning stupid modular design and removable battery... SONY stayed great as always , most complete package with all features that I need . Only one that is downgraded is HTC going from bad to worse , I'm really starting to hate them .
There is nothing bad in his way of buying phones , I would do the same , rather than going for midrange phone because even two year old flagships are better than most current midrange offerings .
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2017Sad to hear this, I'm sure you will miss Sony and you will come back friend.Wow your type is arrogant

Samsung downgraded, LG downgraded, Sony remains as bad as ever... Probably only HTC moved forwards. So next year they'd still be bad phones.
what will be the price and release date ?should i wait for it or go with the mi 6
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2017Don't trust fake reviews. And don't look at benchmarks and other useless things. Go for Sony. ... moreMy 8 year old omnia HD works fine. That doesn't mean is the phone that everyone should choose right now

em using sony since era of sony ericsson , but em really disappointed now by this creation of sony they have to seriously think about battery life of their ultra phones, even my two year old c5 ultra have a batter battery life. i waited for xa ultra and then xa1 ultra but now wait is over and em going for s8plus. please sony do something in one month or you will loose a proud buyer of sony.
thnx and regards
AnonD-633729, 04 Jun 201768hr endurance rating may be ok in 2012 but not in 2017 where most phones get upwards of 80hr.Yep but Sony phones are generally renowned for poor to moderate battery life. The low light studio pics aren't great either.
As expected, that pathetic battery life, just buy Mi Max 2 if you want a phablet.

Although, I do wait for 6 months instead of a year... but, yeah, I agree...
Cheapskate and practical people like us don't get influenced by the hype.
Ritzie, 04 Jun 2017Given its price & performance, it's more feasible to buy last year's flagship phones.
Eve... moreThat's how I buy phones. I NEVER buy this years new best thing. I wait and buy LAST YEARS new best thing. For one, it's typically 1/2 the price, last build of the product line, all updates usually installed, bugs, that might have appeared with the new model, have been addressed.
For a cheapskate penny pincher like me, better bang for the buck.
