wow, i just wonder why gsmarena is so fast to review this brand "which-can-always-make-phone-of the year".
maybe oneplus 3t can make good review last year, but i think they fail this year.. yeah price is the reason, they dont cheap anymore..

Why should somebody buy a phone which EXACTLY looks like an iPhone? Its like buying a plastic cucumber instead of cucumber. This company is an illusion. Its all about the hype. Nothing more. I rather spend more money for atleast buying something original. Already upgraded my old M8 ( which was still super fast ) to U11. Came here because I was really curious how and why gsm reviewed this unit super fast like this. Oneplus knows where to spend money. Thumbs up for that at least.

You won't pick it over S8 but you can easily pick it up in case you need a top class phone without spending that much.

£450 in the UK. I imagine it won't be long before I can get a s8 for £500 which comes with really good earphones. They've lost it if they think they're still 'affordable' when priced so similarly to the top-end phones that have all the hardware features, guaranteed updates and top of the line cameras. I think you can already get the G6 for less.

I expected way too much and got disappointed at the end. Its a spin-off of an iphone 7 plus! I would never buy a phone that looks like a clone. Technically, that 6GB RAM would be a help, especially in the benchmarks, but its a let down too. Its like 4GB is already enough. Everyone is so hyped about the camera but with 1.12 micron? Excuse me.

looks like an Oppo R11, which in turn looks like X amount of other Chinese phones, all culminating in clones from Iphone 7s

the phone seems to be a great device I was definitely expecting something different and this phone as many have pointed out it's definitely not a flagship killer but for the price that they are asking for it is OK.

suppose Samsung copy that design, people just freak out and start boycotting it. s8 is expensive because of R&D.
what oneplus do just copy from here & there. I prefer mi6 over that copycat thing

I was going to buy this phone but not anymore! If I wanted my phone to be mistaken for an iPhone I would've bought an iPhone. OnePlus has become fake. They fake their benchmarks, fake listening to their fans, fake flagship killer. OnePlus 6 will be the same price as everyone else. They're literally the new Nexus. Start out great and end up the same as everyone else. Why such a price increase? You added a slightly better processor and 2gb more of RAM that no one needs yet. $100 over the 3t for that? Camera is way over hyped, no ois, smaller battery, same screen as the 3 and 3t, no waterproofing, no micro SD card slot, no wireless charging, and no ability to go out in public and not look like an apple fanboy. I hope Apple sues them. Samsung phones weren't even that similar but this is literally the same phone with Android on it. Apple customers should save some money and buy this instead and install iOS on it. Oh wait then they'd lose waterproofing and a decent camera!

Yeah overall not bad but not great either. No waterproofing or shock resistance, only 3,300 mAh battery, no SD card.. where's the flagship killer in that? 8GB of RAM seems cool but 4-6 are more than enough. Still waiting for some OEM to put a 5,000 mAh battery on the SD835.

While even if some aspects do not quite match the iPhone 7 plus, in other areas it betters it and for a significantly lower price. It is a design failure on Apple part that it packs much less into such an outsized and heavy body. Add to this the fact that the iPhone fails to have many flagship features or sub-par ones at best at a more than premium price and things get worse.

OnePlus 5 is thinner(marginally) and have smaller footprint(less bezel) than iphone 7 plus yet packed bigger battery and more importantly, an audio jack
