Anonymous, 23 Jun 2017Just $40 primium, you get SD835, Sony 20MP camera. Who says not worth it?My Xperia Z3 Compact had a 20,7mpix camera from Sony and it sucked ass. But I guess the problem is the software for Sony.
This OP5 camera, regardless of what some reviewers say, has really impressed me so far.
Sealed battery. No where near enough for my usage for 6.5 to 7 hours of SOT for the day. I spend more time using a smartphone than desktop or laptops for entertainment, work, and communications. Now we want what Apple was doing - sealed battery that makes us carry chargers and powerbanks. Very ironic since most of you want thin phones, hence the small internal battery.

bfbsdgvsfv, 22 Jun 2017Only good thing about One plus 5 is that all of the giants of youtube mobile reviewers from MK... moreHave you actually used this phone? What's your complaint?
I was sceptic, but really needed a new phone fast and from where I come from, nothing comes even remotely close to this amount of bang for the buck, so I figured I'll try it despite disliking big phones. I'm completely sold even after I was sceptic and I wasn't expecting much from the camera based on what we knew beforehand.
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2017I don't understand the hate for oneplus 5. Everything is perfect in this phone except the cameraAnd even the camera is damn good. It might have some shortcomings here and there, but so far in normal every day scenarios the camera keeps surprising me with it's quality. Friends too have been wondering how the camera produces that good results.
The mobile is never a reason to decide about its productivity but its about the service they provide once you carry your phone out of the showroom.
1. They have insurance available in 3 different modes each giving you protection about the basics not covering the display insurance that is the most dedicate and pocket hole thing.
2. Having engineers in their desk doesn't help as most of the customer care don't no how to deal with the problem either they'll replace your phone or will format not giving any grounds of protection to your data is of utmost importance.
3. Giving 6/8 gb variant in 64/128 respectively is of great importance but you don't have a back head option of protecting your data. once mobile gets crashed no matter whatever maybe the reason is they'll stand their hand open asking you sir we'll format or you can take your phone back.
They customer care need to sort the issues rather creating a dispute to things. Format is not we come to ask you for, you are here to help customers not to create chaos. Hope Admin will make things work and maybe look forward to sort some action.
Yeah, let's ruin it by
Some how design looks like iPhone
No water resistant
No SD card supports
And don't forget the poor customer support.
Just remember when op 1 came everybody say big company like Samsung and lg will force to lower their price. It looks like oneplus forced to higher their price.
No waterproofing? No expansion? Ok I can live with that but worse still is it has bezels and is a small phone.
AnonD-669542, 21 Jun 20171+5 is not much better. It is much much worse. I don't understand the hate for oneplus 5. Everything is perfect in this phone except the camera
My only complain is people might get the wrong idea that i use a cheap iPhone 7 clone.
AnonD-4497, 22 Jun 2017Hurray.. Order placed.. Will receive on june 28th..wrong decision..
bfbsdgvsfv, 22 Jun 2017Only good thing about One plus 5 is that all of the giants of youtube mobile reviewers from MK... moreRightly said. MKBHD however was not very enthusiastic in the review, but he had to say positive things about the phone as he was one of the special invitee guests for the launch. However one reviewer The Verge had blasted the phone.
After going through a few *credible* reviews... I am getting more and more put off by the OP5. In fact, if you ignore the SD835 and 6GB RAM for a moment (which I doubt make a hell of a lot of difference compared to SD820/821 + 4GB RAM in most real-world scenarios).... everything about this phone is strictly mid-range..... mid-range screen, mid-range camera, mid-range aesthetics, no waterproofing etc.....
The thing OP has excelled at in the past is tremendous value-for-money.... but the fact that it keep jacking up prices for small upgrades means that is no longer the case.....
OnePlus 5 cheat in benchmark, can skip performance page
that's so fast to have review, can skip as well
nothing worth to read
Absolute disappointment on reading reviews on camera and sunlight display. One Plus 3t has better camera with OIS than 5.
Well, great phone - but for at least 600$,in EU,I mean.Just bought Mi6 for 450$(all custom&taxes incl.).These two are so close in terms of what they offer, but Mi6 looks way more cool, specially blue one..plus better camera and honestly fantastic audio output, connected to Yamaha a-s500 stereo amp and AKG K550 fullsize stereo headphones..one word-brilliant!
ValiR, 22 Jun 2017S8, 5.8" is 624 euro in Germany, I would pay that 124 euro difference to get it instead of giv... moreCrazy right? Even with lower res, smaller screen, bigger battery in OP5, Samsung's battery life's still comparable to it. Although, in GSMArena battery chart, Samsung does worse in screen-on tests, which is logical. That means Samsung's actually exceptional in standby time
