Only good thing about One plus 5 is that all of the giants of youtube mobile reviewers from MKBHD to Michael Fischer lost credibility with their bare naked blatantly biased and paid reviews.

But honestly we are 2017 and OP miss the "flagship" mark on quite a few spots.On top of that 1+5 has nothing original or "wow" going for it...certainly not a good thing if you plan to splash(pun intended) 500€

The most obvious reason for that is the aperture: f/2.6 vs f/1.7 transmits 35% less light onto sensor.

Looks like a poor man's iPhone copy without actually costing like one, the camera sensors are tiny while the bezels huge, and the benchmarks results are cheated. Beats me how such a great line fell so low.

I wish the OnePlus 5 did not miss out on the Gigabit LTE, the feature where the maximum screen brightness increases under sunlight, and stereo speakers.
I hope the speaker will be as loud as the iPhone 7 speakers.

Other than gsmarena I don't think anyone else gave critical review to this phone. Even camera is great and is easily there with S8 and pixel. I am getting one as soon as gets launched in India. In 33K with flagship camera and flagship performance, I am sold. G6 at 40K, U11 at 52k and S8 at 58k has already ensured success of OP5.

I really got nothing against the phone. I honestly think it's a great phone considering it's price. But I don't understand why it's getting the review so quickly while in the other hand there are a lot Older famous branded phones with similar quality at least didn't get reviewed until now.

TC, 21 Jun 2017Look at the image quality, in lower light condition, S8 still much better...Well compromises must be made to meet the price point they are targeting. In OP5's case, those compromises were made in display and camera. But now with OP5 pricing lurking in the proximity of S7/G6/XZ/iPhone 7, there is no point buying OP5 if you want a far better camera and screen. Not to mention far better support services of big brands.
