Of course, there's the 1 % chance that they actually tried to built the phone to last... Remains to be seen... Or well, repaired. :D

M4 Aqua was like that, as witnessed on m5 wife's ex-M4.
I bet this being ever cheaper, it will be even worse. Display will probably pop off (bad glue, has happened to some Z5's or Z5C's I've heard of) and the USB-connector breaking in half. That's some Sony-quality for you, must be nice having those. :D

xXENDER FREAKXx, 25 Jun 2017Yes it is better but the only disadvantage is the 1.3ghz processor I guess fingerprint sensor and double battery are more than enough to compensate for the underclocked processor. It's same processor. Only difference being Sony over locked it by around 10%

zonk, 24 Jun 2017what for these all technology?? we want long battery backup, many custom rom, any development... moremediatek is terrible. their chips documentations are incomplete. they also very closed-source. dont have good relationship to the opensource community. that's why writing custom roms for mediatek's chips is very very difficult.

Being an entry-level smartphone the Xperia L1 is perfectly good for calls, web browsing, email and everything social media. You can stay connected, shoot and post photos and videos, watch away YouTube and play your favorite music or radio station. Sounds like more than enough for a beginners' phone, doesn't it?
Isn't this what most people use their smartphone for? Nothing beginning about that
