As a former iphone user who now uses a Samsung S8+ I would never go back to IOS. The Android OS on my phone is a pleasure to use and the phone quality is excellent. In my opinion Samsung/Android are the leaders today.

That said, it feel like Samsung is so fear from the coming success of the OP5 that, they will do a lot and will go an extra mile for get so called free and objective review...
The OP5 sure isn't perfect , but it damn very close there, for the money you pay...
one more thing, how much it cost to replace the 7 or 8 screen? does it will keep its IP rating after that? how much a new back made of gorilla glass will cost?

But anyway the price difference,any brand flagship is just so much better than 1+5 ,and thats even before I consider the customer care at all.

I don't consider this phone worthy to battle among these phones,it's more of a phone to battle against the Xiaomi mi 6,Huawei honor 9 and ZTE nubia Z17 considering they have similar specs.It' should be a battle between low cost affordable flagship,not real ones.
The phone is lackng all major aspects of a flagship: Amazing camera with OIS,QHD screen,waterproof,great heat management (this phone doesn't have it),wirelesss charging and fast quick one.The reason why this phone is fast is the FHD screen that doesn't need to push pixels like QHD screen suffer.Same strategy used by iPhone so no wonder it will have high speed performance.

The same as OP5 is the flagship of One Plus and S8 of Samsung.
So, it doesn't matter that they cost less (OP5) or have worst specs (G6), they still are considered flagships of that company.

I don't know about you, but when it comes to phones the first thing I am interested in is design. And if that design will cost me a little more cash (if I can afford it of course) I will gladly pay. Also because, for me, is like saying thank you in some way to the design team of that phone and that means that somebody "hit their heads to the wall" to try and make something different.
I am not a fan of Samsung. But at least they are trying to inovate when it comes to design (look at S6 Edge, now S8).
Up to some point I liked Apple, but now their phones looks so outdated. They are just sleeping on their good software and some little changes here and there. Not to mention the One Plus, which in my opinion has no originality, is just copying other phones design.
