Apolodor, 20 Jul 2017Very big mistake from sammy. They are far behind the mid competition and prices are raised as ... moreYea and without an ambient light sensor, i'd never consider them, especially with what Xiaomi has to offer. I'm considering buying the Mi Max 2 and it'll cost me $270 with the delivery...lol, almost $100 cheaper and beats the J7 at pretty much everything, besides screen quality.
Crocop, 20 Jul 2017It's a decent device for someone who does not play too much games, I guess. I'm J7 2016 user, ... moreVery big mistake from sammy. They are far behind the mid competition and prices are raised as ****. And flagship are super expensive and I don't trust them. My experience with alpha made me think twice If I will buy s8 next year.
It's a decent device for someone who does not play too much games, I guess. I'm J7 2016 user, and I really don't see anything special here that's worth upgrading, only more premium design and stuff like fingerprint scanner, and I really don't care too much about that. But yeah, J7 2016 is still a great choice, and if I had to choose right now I would pick it up again probably.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017I think he is talking about the screen brightness, not the photos.Indeed
Dat battery life.
Still a bit salty gsmarena never reviewed the j7 prime. But i digress since this j7 (2017) is better than the prime.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017I think he is talking about the screen brightness, not the photos.I understand that my English is immature.
I was telling you that there is a picture in the review with automatic brightness
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017It has poor quality camera lens. The corners and edges are blurry. The sharpness is good actually
This sucks. Even though I don't have it because I got all the high end flagships but I have an impression of it after looking st my friend's GALAXY J7 PRIME. The camera reaction is slow as hell. Plus it is super hard to get clear shots out of moving objects. XPERIA XA1 is literally better focus and speed plus the price
Guys, this phone is not for gaming.. It has the same chipset as the J7 2016 edition. As clear from the review, the processor (especially the GPU) can't handle the 1080p Full HD resolution so it's obvious, graphics intensive games will be laggy. The J7 (2016) model had 720p HD so it was able to play 3D games quite easily. So if you are into gaming, like me, then you'll be disappointed like me. I have the Samsung Galaxy On8 with Super AMOLED 1080p Full HD display, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 3300 mAh Removable Battery and it is using the same processor as the J7 2015 edition, due to which the phone lags and heats up even when playing simple casual games so I wanted to upgrade to this J7 2016 but I guess, I'll wait for Redmi Note 5 with Snapdragon 660 processor or maybe J7 2018 Edition..
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017How is a 340 EUR phone a "lower end device"?Absolutely this is far far more than Shamesung have to ask for this outdated phone. Redmi note 5 is comming and will laugh at this poor phone. If you want samsung better get J7 2016 last year model cuz is probably on promotion now or A3 2017 if you dont mind old Android.
Bddszjh, 20 Jul 2017This review also includes automatic brightness photos.I think he is talking about the screen brightness, not the photos.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017Hmm, i watched a Youtube review and there was no auto brightness setting. This review also includes automatic brightness photos.
AnonD-473763, 20 Jul 2017I regreted buying Samsung J7 Prime only to find out that all J series has NO auto-brightness. ... moreI don't know who's more stupid, Samsung or people that bought their product without doing a research first? I don't disagree with you that Samsung is shameless to STILL NOT INCLUDING AUTO BRIGHTNESS SINCE J3 2015 which is two years ago even when they have cranked their tags to $300++ now.
