Anonymous, 12 Aug 2017Thanks GSM team for this review. And also to all nice people trying to be funny about this on... moreOne of the few comments here that makes perfect sense some people criticized most of the flagships without taking into account that there is people that has to live with a much lower specs device and they don't complain as much as those who have a phone that is near perfect and yet they some bash them on the most ridicule details that at the end of the day make no difference.
The specs are great at that price point i must admit, and the AMOLED display is a plus. It's crazy what you can get for $200 nowadays. Doesn't look half bad either. What i'm skeptical about are the radios though.. signal, bluetooth, wifi you know all that good stuff. I'm curious is any of that stuff is any good.
xXENDER FREAKXx, 11 Aug 2017Unwanted phone, u know. People buy SAMSUNG, HTC, SONY, LG flagships. Even XIAOMI and HUAWEI is... moreYeah... I would put Huawei where you put Sony. Sony fails miserably at phones, except maybe for the XZ Premium
This model of doogee is something incredible for its price, also with a lot of memory and a low price, this is a phone that can serve anyone
The phone has seriously impressed me by the looks. Not so sure about the battery or speed test, but 6 gb. A price starting at £140 can not go wrong with bazeless design and finger print in correct position. 2 camera at the back. I need one.
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2017Thanks GSM team for this review. And also to all nice people trying to be funny about this on... moreWell said brother, this should not be forgotten. Smartphones are not about Apple/Sony/Samsung/HTC/LG only.
This Doogee Mix is just great for a modest price despite its slacking camera. Doogee is currently busy on firmware updates for this phone, let's hope they get this part sorted very quick.
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2017what design is that lol ? samsung is the best phone maker in the world.. look their curved pho... moreChinese will not copy that, instead they will make something better than that.
You see the excellent drop resistance of the Mi Mix? Do that with your curved edge toy hahahahhaa
yet!, 12 Aug 2017why cant other phone makers like samsung never thought of this design?Try Sharp AQUOS phones in Japan; they have been rocking this design since 2013.

It's very nice to read a fair review from a trustworthy outlet of an unknown brand like Doggee. Hopefully, the GSMArena team doesn't get scared of the Chinese phones, there are some interesting ones being released day by day, like the aforementioned ones in the review.

Thanks GSM team for this review. And also to all nice people trying to be funny about this one, at least they read it (hopefully) and learned something new about the world around them. I'm from a little poor country with bad government, small salaries and a high rate of unemployment. The device I'm using is a cheap one from a chinese company you probably never even heard of. Still, even though my hardware obviously sucks, thanks to the software I'm doing decent, my device is rooted, has custom recovery and a custom OS, I'm actively using all the best modules of Xposed Framework and probably know more about how my phone works that an average westener with a big wallet do. What I want to say is that the world of smartphones isn't restricted to flagships and rich customers. I'd guess at least 80% of the world is using modest devices according to their income and they make use of the same apps you do and more or less the same features and I dare say enjoy it, even without having crazy framerates in games. Small chinese companies like this one help those people to achieve decent android experience for reasonable cost and as was said by the article they are facing a very fierce competition, so they have to use popular designs and features (and sometimes colors of a questionable taste) to distinguish themselves from the mass of others willing to profit from the very popular market of cheap smartphones. Maybe these smartphones are not so spectacular as new flagships, but they deserve their little place in reviews as well, because that's what lots of people are using and they also deserve to learn about their device of choice and to be able to compare it to the similar products. Sorry for huge comment, just wanted people to look a little bit outside their comfortable box.
Why do they make on screen buttons if there's pretty big bottom bezel? Most of the time it's one more black line at the bottom, like a bezel.
