Anonymous, 11 Aug 2017Mediatek trashgrow up. there are many more important aspect you can say here, like the camera quality that is quite bad.
i just cant stop laughing on the FaceBeauty sample shot Beauty Filter lol.
16mp rear camera with bad quality hmm..if Doogee can get a high quality old 8mp camera it will be better (8mp like galaxy s3, iphone 4s etc.)
front camera, high quality old 2mp camera will be ok (2mp like in meizu mx4)
Gettinh more reviewers across the globe might help with the awareness part
FinestBezels, 11 Aug 2017For the price is good. Exactly. I bought this phone "just for testing" and i'm glad i did. It's excellent for its price.
I got the 6gb RAM / 64gb storage for $160 last month (preorders).
I quite agree on many points of the review, especially the camera part which is disappointing and could be far better (the Maze Alpha seems to take excellent photos).
For software part, many issues can be solved with less than 30min tweaking : you just have to uninstall / disable the bloat, customize Doogee's UI, remove default browser and then you get very fast device.
I'm quite happy with it as a secondary phone. Battery seems to be good and i have absolutely no reception problems. Oh, and it's dual sim.
But i'm glad GSMA is starting to reviews other brands than the usual ones, this will open the mind and horizon of many visitors.
Wooooow. The poor's Mi Mix. I'd call it decent for the price
Well you get what you pay for. Good paper specs but poor performance.
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2017they just offer rebranded phones of rebranded phones. The same as Doogee, Bluboo, Micromax, la... moreAfter what happened to Lenovo... I heavily doubt it... Xiaomi is copycat of Apple BTW...
Haha, i knew this Doggy phone would be bas, since uncle Lao made it on the knee. Everything is just terrible.
travis100, 10 Aug 2017If your going to do reviews at this kind of level then I suggest you look at UMIDIGI soon,good... morethey just offer rebranded phones of rebranded phones. The same as Doogee, Bluboo, Micromax, lava, xolo, Coolpad, ZTE, Yu, verykool and so on. And I wouldn't buy any of those in my life, when for the same money, you can get phones with much better reputation like Xiaomi or Lenovo/Motorola
If your going to do reviews at this kind of level then I suggest you look at UMIDIGI soon, goods specs, good prices, can be git through Amazon.
That moment, when a Chinese company copies a Chinese copycat company
Doogee Max? Lol! Sounds like a cartoon character from Saturday morning children's TV!
Ok... this is new... Doogee manages to get a review and finally a section here?
Impressive, really impressive. Gratz Doogee guys :D
PS: GSMArena guys, seems that there might be another brand that deserves to enter there and that is Ulefone. They are selling now Global Editions of their devices. That is really impressive too since they are offering the only Helio P25 devices with global bands available.
Was quite surprised to see this in the review section. I never used any Doogee device (you gotta laugh at those chinese names) but conclusions were right were i thought they would be. Small chinese company trying to get on the bezel-less train, but just doesn't have the means to do a proper product. Not to mention it takes at least 5 "no major flaws" in a row streak of prodcuts to be taken seriously. Unfinished at best and no way near Xiaomi, Meizu, ZTE, Huawei, Lenovo & Co.
I would suggest to stay away from those products as they guarantee headaches. Stick to the OEMs that have a proven track record. In a couple of years - who knows, maybe Doogee will be new Xiaomi:)
