Its too huge, it does no longer deserve to be called a cellphone..
Also battery power is too low!. I expected 4000mah, with so much power, i do know how long battery it will last.
SAMSUNG IS so obssed with gorilla glass with Similar designs that are more alike, even making difficulties in differentiating samsung phones.
FROM all of the note you have DESIGN, note 4 is the best and will remain to be so!. Unless you came up with new designs, phone shapes and features.
its a failure as compared to s8+. it has nothing new except for the camera. nobody will shell out extra 350 just for the camera and also gets a REDUCED battery life for a LARGER screen.
Samsung has successfully created a flop...AGAIN!
im liking it very much as design , the sharper corners and edge im liking that u can see slight black bezels from front that make me hate edge screen less ....and that blue is great more so with the black camera area ..... ofcourse i hate the position of the fp scanner and the small battery but if u know about no 7 ,u can excuse samsung and just hope under screen fp scanner be ready for next year phones .
Spike1, 23 Aug 2017why do we have to get stuff by drop? why didn't they have the fastes charger out there instead... more1) it will explode
2) "our battery capacity is not big, u can get away with fast charge 2"
Martin, 23 Aug 2017Iphone will record 4k 60 FPS and have stereo speakers But lack in video and photo quality in comparison and record in mono lol
So the telephoto is a smaller sensor with only 1um vs 1.44um pixels and a vastly smaller aperture of f2.4 compared to f1.7?
why do we have to get stuff by drop? why didn't they have the fastes charger out there instead being stuck with fast charge 2!!!
no matter how good the phone is, as long as they put the damn fingerprint at that location (again), i'll just no.
It's gorgeous! Definitely worth switching my work's note 5 with this babe!
Samsung Note 8 is the same Samsung Galaxy S8 with that Pen! No Innovation. Hail iPhone!!!
Am android user but not Samsung since note 3. This phone is making me jump back to them.
Reading all the comments,I could agree with majority of people too!
2.Still no stereo speakers?!?
3.Same faulty design with the fingerprint scaner!(really Samsung?!?)
4.Not much if all of an upgrade over his "S" sibling
5.Even smaller battery
I mean who in the right mind would buy this over S8+
Wonder where are we headed with atrocious prices, impractical design and 0 innovation. This is beautiful indeed but apart from being a rich man's toy, I fail to see anything. Samsung UX is functional but over time struggles, many folks have already realised how practical infinity display is and the prices are rivalling a laptop! The camera looks great on paper and that's it for me. Good luck to folks who drain there money on this new overhyped toy!
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2017Sexy AF dude.Agreed. I am not a Samsung fan, but this is one of the most beautiful mobile devices i have ever seen!
The small battery will be this device's downfall.
Only major innovation was the camera. Rest all are software changes. S pen is the same as note 7. Only software features have changed. They couldn't even add tilt recognition. Till then, writing with an spen will never feel like writing with a pencil or pen.
The battery is a joke. 3300mah on a powerhouse. I was hoping they'd put a bigger battery when they were hyping that the note is for power users in their unpacked event. Such a shame. And it features quick charge 2.0. Please samsung. Qc 3.0 is the standard now. And most flagships have bigger batteries than the note 8.
I see the unpacked event as samsung overly hyping their undeserving new phone. There's nothing much to too new or too good for people except the camera. Lots of new features for the camera! And useful ones too. But the battery, samsung dex, bixby are all wasteful and not even useful.
This phone would've been great if it costed half of what it's priced at now. Other than that, it's nothing but a phone for rich fools to buy and for Samsung to prosper by their immoral product marketing strategy. Such a shame indeed!
