But looking at these... moreMoto X4 is coming, it will be king of midrangers, IP68, wide angel lens, 16mp selfie cam with flash, amoled 5.2inch screen for better one hand use, newest sd630, i cant contain my excitement, at sub 400$ it will be a bomb. It will be the most practical phone of 2017 i guess, ip68 is very much necessary for a gadget which we need most of the time.

Moto G5 plus or Moto G5 s plus? Moto g5 plus already purchased. Seriously with launches and launches one is not secured of the handset at least for a year. Companies should always keep a handset for 6 months at least. When it was G5 it should have been g5 only. Plus was ok but s+ do not know what they want. This way they may make there present users unhappy.

Snap 625 really? Couldn't they have put a little more up to date cpu/gpu? Like Snap 626 or 630?
Snap 625 was announced on Feb 2016 for god's sake and it's almost 2018...c'mon Moto...

The g2 camera is the best that i have seen in the price segment. But it had problem of battery dying by discharging.
Heck it's not even Motorola anymore, it's MOTO.
It should have gone the nokia way of licensing the brand to a startup which can understand its core values and work on them. Camera and updates. Now it sucks in them to. Same lenovo gene.

It is difficult to read this hands-on without knowing first the price or suggested price for this device. Each praise or criticism in the hands-on means little without knowing the price they want for this.

It's truly sad, that in this price range (14k-20k), there aren't any good smartphone camera manufacturers.
The Photo samples on the Moto G5S Plus look truly dreadful, as bad as the Moto G5 Plus. I don't know how Motorola makes such bad cameras at this price range. Its like they don't work on the software at all, and just let their Chinese OEMs give them whatever seems right to them.

Cod3rror, 29 Aug 2017G4 Plus beats all G5s in camera quality. In daylight it resolves a lot more details.Thanks to its larger 1/2.3" sensor, physics doesn't lie, yes.
It's high time that OEMs should just abandon sensors smaller than 1/2.5" (looking at those 1/3" ones), if they are actually serious about improving image quality, dual cam or not.
