GSMA, Can you add the audio measurements and comparison with V20 and Axon 7? That would help users to see how it is against phones with dedicated dacs? You might have all their measurements with you already.

AnonD-438314, 14 Sep 2017Nobody knows about its camera's sensor? I guess they used again (as in G6) a very small one. ... moreHi. It has a 16 mp 1/3 type sensor so that they were able to save money on the lens and sensor properly. Yes, that's a huge disappointment but it still beats U11, iP7 and Google pixel in terms of LL perfomance. In broad daylight it performs even better than letters. But S8 and N8 are still flagships that can't be beaten in LL shots. So yeah, I would be glad to get best main camera complemented by WA one but that's not the case here. To get best LL perf imaginable you have to pick up S7, S8 or LG V20 but not the V30

As expected, mighty machine that V30 is..'Till Christmas there will be one or two updates and LG will fix small issues with display and battery, and it will be a proper flagship device.Price will hopefully drop too, maybe to 500Euro,that would be a great deal..and half the price of Sams&Fruit top dogs..

AnonD-410722, 14 Sep 2017P. s. And this phone have dual camera. Is possible to make depth effect like Iphone 7plus ... moreNot possible.

It needs the lenses to be very narrow. Note 8 has 55mm I guess.
Unless the main cam does it by sofrware.
Like the sub app of Sony. The defocus background.

why would you review a non-final phone? i've seen a number of early impression videos on YT regarding V30 and LG discourages them all from reviewing the phone since it is not yet final

I'm also a G4 customer burned by LG over bootloop shortly after warranty expired but it's really amazing to still see many comments about this. The V30 is the 5th flagship level phone they've released since the G4 and the bootloop reputation is still haunting them, and it is somewhat deserved, too. They've really turned a lot of people off from their brand (myself included) and all they had to do was fix the problem, instead some bean counter at their HQ gave a PPT presentation to the board of directors stating the cost to fix the problem would be greater than the cost of lost customers so they chose to lose customers. It's really stunning to see how much this has probably affected their business. I recently relocated to another country and had to buy new appliances including a TV, guess what? Not one was a LG and it was all because of my horrible experience with their service center and my G4.

Nobody knows about its camera's sensor?
I guess they used again (as in G6) a very small one. Do not expect, (despite f1.6) images as good as in U11 or S8. V30 looks nice as phone but it is not enough. For those who search for a great camera, V30 is (will be) not the one.
I speak as a pleased owner of V10.

The P-OLED display can be as bright as the best AMOLEDs in Auto mode, and posts great contrast readings in direct sunlight - better than **all LCDs

**Except the Nokia 8 - Nokia 8's LCD is beat LG p-oled.. just expand the sunlight legibility chart

White paper haunting modern tech, black needs less energy than something white that shines like sun. We also got transparent screens, which would be btw great for covering front camera, and great for bypassing black background but I'm not sure how much battery it eats. Still, better blacks are worth it.

Cs, yu, tuga, much better performance than Chrome or others, and also built in adblock, night mode. Only downside is you can't sync with Chrome.

If we are talking about phones with great cameras why include OP5? I doesn't perform well in low light conditions. Good performance but It's far from the other alternatives in camera.

Nokia 8 as an alternative? this must be a bad joke.

Meanwhile, Mate 10 pro (which is said to be bezelless in your news article) is missing!

I know that my Priv inherently has bad battery life, but still the greatest drain seems to occur during web browsing. White backgrounds of websites are not suitable for AMOLED.

Definitely need a night mode or something on Chrome.

DangerousDroid, 14 Sep 2017They told you it's not a final software so please get some brain ...Did I say I assumed this is the final result by V30...? No, I sure as h*ll did not. It is clearly stated in the review (+ in this comment-section) that this is not the final software. So why on earth would I think V30's battery life couldn't get better/balanced?

Yes, I did not mention that in my previous message, but everyone should've understood that by now - repeating that would've been pointless, just like your message to me.

AnonD-295012, 14 Sep 2017After all the bootloops & sh*t from LG, i'm no longer interested in their products. No offense. If one is always obsessed with the bad experience in the past, he may not have the chance to use the better products in the future of that company.

I wonder whether they used Chrome or the built-in browser. I would have used 2 browsers and post the results with both.
