NichtsGemacht, 15 Sep 2017I think that a proper review should include a final version of the product being reviewed I do... moreNothing wrong with a review based upon something that isn't completely finalized as long as the review makes sure to let it be known it is just that. Besides often there will also fixes/updates where the first production run of a product and the next run and so one - so when is the right time to do a review anyway.
Also for sure the review will be updated once the V30 starts shipping.
What about the wireless charging - that seems to have been forgotten in the review!
Also I may be mistaken, but I thought face recognition was also a unlock option?
I am curious as to why this Youtube video
has the exact same photographs as in the GSMArena review ???

G6 is still the king among these flagshis.
Sony Fanboy Bitches, 16 Sep 2017It's 1/3.06", not 1/3.6" - there's a difference. Can you refer a website from where you saw it with a 1/3.06" sensor. Because GSMA states that the Note 8 selfie camera has 1/3.6" sensor in their specs page.
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2017Again with a smaller battery they score a little better still because of a 5.2 inch screen vs ... moreOLED is just way more efficient, but the ones from LG are inferior in terms of image quality in comparison to Sony's Triluminos IPS LCD screens.
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2017G6 only used IMX258 but still can compete with other flagship: that is amazing! Not at all - I've tried it personally.
As a mid ranger, it's surely the best, but not as a flagship.
The wide aperture and presence of OIS can only do so far, and it's a good thing that LG has some nice processing (though not Samsung or Google's level).
It can't even beat the 2015 LG G4's main camera, which only needs the Google Pixel's camera app (that includes HDR+ to make the biggest improvements) to blow the G6 away.
Meizupro6plus, 16 Sep 2017What is your reason to upgrade, especially for so much money? I mean it looks better and is a ... moreFor once, the display is now OLED (probably not as good as Samsung's, but surely a big jump from the burning in Quantum IPS of the V20, which has been the same for LG's high end devices since the G4).
LG needs to change their Logo , it looks ugly and not Professional at all.
Just LG in letters is better than that stupid LOGO...
Hey LG your logo looks like a one eyed man face laughing at you.
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2017G6 only used IMX258 but still can compete with other flagship: that is amazing!Only cause they use a bright lens and over sharpen severely

LG is desperate already. Making a phone with features that resemble those of Samsung's.

I mean it looks better and is a little bit faster, but other than that? The camera sensor is absolute garbage, the battery is not changeable anymore and everything else it has to offer the V20 also has (quad dac, big screen etc.)
I`m not trying to attack you, it`s really just pure interest. I own the V20 myself and i just can`t find any reason to pay an ridiculous amount of money to get basically the same phone in a new shiny package (with a worse camera).

On the V20 you can choose phone-speaker or headphone output in the Radio app after connecting the headphones to use the antenna.
