It's not exploding batteries. It's Apples newest and thus far kept secret function. After listening to comments of consumers, Apple decided to add the 'user-replaceable' battery. Just connect your new iPhone to the charger, wait for about 1 hour and you can take out the battery and replace it with a new one. We call it 'seamless replacement'.

I had a Xperia Z3 and was to changing for an iPhone 6S or Galaxy S7 (here in Brazil they cost the same), i bought a Galaxy S7 and my Wife change her Z3 Compact for a iPhone SE. The only thing the S7 is better is on Cameras, in all the rest there problems, after the update for Android 7, the battery is drainning fast, the system lag a lot, overall the performance of iPhone SE, is faster then S7. When you use only Android, you dont see somethings, many apps have versions more updated in iOS and there is a lot of apps iOS only, mainly games like Flower, Submerged, Geshundeit, etc. Android needs fix the fragmentation, many android games only support 1080p, and there is a few devices with 1440p screens. Many peoples comparing iPhones with mid end Android, but the cost of an S8 and and Iphone 8 is very close, how in some places Apple rarely makes discount, the iPhones lost value slower than Android. In Brazil for instance a used iPhone 7 cost U$800, and one S7 used cost U$450, New they did cost about U$1000. Today the iPhone stil costing about U$1000 and S7 cost U$700.

The quality is better than most Android flagship... moreBahahahaha i was going to grt iphone 7plus, but when i tried it in two different occasions in apple store cant take the fact that its a lot slpwer than my redmi note 3 special edition. So i bought HTC U11 instead, and never regret not getting an iphone. No dedicated keys for menu, back and home key that means more press.

Lets be honest... the image quality is far from being one of the best 12 MP sensor's you've ever tested. They're probably still using that tiny 1/3" sensor from the iPhone 7... maybe a newer version but still same size. Give me a break...! If you seriously think the IQ is good in any form whatsoever there's something definitely wrong. Apples camera used to be good during the days of the iPhone 4 & 5 series... In recent iterations its just going from bad to worse.

Many of you could never afford an iPhone without carrier deals.

80-90% of iPhone users buy iPhones either with credit or carier deals.
Talking about "luxury".
And a whole 95% of iPhone users I've met so far are either People knowing litterally nothing in tech and thinking iPhone is simple better or the people who buy Apple to look cool.

Can the writer of review let us know how he has come to conclusion that Kirin 970 will be more powerful compared to A11 when they have yet to be compared accurately?
Also, A10 was better that kirin 960 in almost all tests (barring multi core due to A10 having less functional cores, was only less by a slight margin though) and Kirin 970 is said to be better by inly 25 percent when it comes to processing power. A11 on the other hand has smoked all tests so far.
Huawei in their presentation compared A10 with kirin 970 in terms image processing capabilities but A10 never had an AI or independent image processing chip so their claims to be most powerful just doesn’t make sense. Their chips are good no question about that but I would appreciate Huawei to now at least be mature and let tests and facts prove capability as they ofter end up claiming wrong results.
But, please if any one has actual comparison between the two chips please let me know as I like reading and understanding new chips and both A11 and Kirin 970 right now look to be the best right now, with A11 seem to be having better CPU and GPU capabilities. AI capabilities will depend lot on software so probably it will be a while before we see usefull stuff for users in that regard

Already feeling bad for people who will still buy iPhone 8/8+. I mean if you can't afford iPhone X, are you seriously going for these outdated phones when there are next gen phones from brands like LG and Sony and when there exist phones like S8 and Note 8 which even trounces iPhone X in terms of capabilities and design. Don't be blindfolded by a brand.

But to the reviewers and me, the iPhone t... moreAnd again. Look at the dxo test result scores for the individual tests that lead up to the score comparing. Ones comparing the S8 scores to the those of iphone 8 plus.
The S8 scored higher in almost every category. By 10 or more points in some.
The iphone just had two extra categories on the end because of dual camera.
So dxo knew the results and their claim were not justified. Which is why they probably did actually get paid. Or they are just that much of fanboys.
And again here. The writer of this article specifically said that the images on the iphone were sharper compared to the s8. While even contradicting it to talk about oil paint effect on foliage.
While the gsmarena photo comparison tool that is linked directly to this article shows the exact opposite.
Just like almost ever photo shoot out comparison. And the Note8 does ever better.
Did one single thought besides apple rules even cross your mind before toy replied??
