I don't mean to be rude... I guess Sony knows what their doing about the Xperia model if you don't like the bezels don't buy it for me the phone Is almost perfect and the rest if the new flagship Xperia thank you..

Hi there, I am so sorry if my comment is not suitable here becauee I live in Vietnam and I just bought a Sony XA1 Plus 2 days ago (my phone has the fingerprint and dual sim). I just would like to share my own feeling about this. Even though many of you think it's a stupid design and not worth buying, for me it's totally amazing at the mid-end market.
I am not a fan of any brand, Samsung, LG, Apple or Sony. Moreover, I used to have many flagship from Samsung (Note 3, Note 4, S7 edge), LG V10. Then, I think I can compare and explain why I feel amazing.
1. The design you call stupid with the large bezels, for me, it's really useful. I usually watch drama and gameshow on phone in landscape of course,

XA1 series are selling very well, Sony is doing everything right this time around, even the price is amazing (150 eur cheaper than comparative Samsung devices).

Sony seems to be doing a similar mistake to Nokia ... Nokia stuck with their operating system, Sony are trying to stick with their boring Design ... Sony can certainly make awesome phones ... but in today's world looks matter a lot! Their current design with such thick bezels is not going to get them at the top ... I think they will even lose in top 10 best looking phones, where they will be at 20th place .... I hope someone from Sony reads this !!

The A series has way better color accuracy compared to this XA1 thing. With a delta of 10 for white and an average of 5.7?? Just bad. Then there is sunlight contrast ratio as well, XA1 = 2.93 where the A7 = 4.1. Battery life XA1 = 102hrs, A7 = 115hrs. Video playback XA1 = 12hrs, A7 = 18hrs. Wanna try again?

well.. at least samsung never lie to the customers. they even recalled their phones and refunded customers money during boomboom fiasco
