Levy, 22 Oct 2017The iPhone X has the same camera as the iPhone 8+.Just that X's telephoto camera also got OIS to boost it's performance.
Its great to see how close the image quality are getting ( no pixel peeping ) . Specially daylight photos . For social media but would work perfectly . Users can easily mistake snaps from Iphone8 are taken from samsung phone .
My wife opted for 8Plus after having the option of Note8. 8Plus and X . Bezeless is just not her thing . It looks beautiful but seems more delicate and fragile in hands and the ergnomics are not that great . Imo v30 has the best ratio . Unique preference for every individual i suppose

In day light, ip8+ looks so unnatural and so bright. Some scene looks like drawing photo for me. Note 8 balances in day light and good tho in low light. For video ip8+ win but not by miles away.
Very impressed with the camera on the Note 8. Would like to see it side by side against V30
IMO might be iPhone have some edge over note8 in few departments but as complete package note 8 is a phone of year because what you will get in iPhone x an amoled display and comparable camera both have there strong hold in different areas at the end it's up-to your taste but spen edge design great camera awesome infinity display make it ahead of iPhone
DxO mark should take notes from gsmarena on how to review phone cameras.
D..K.., 22 Oct 2017i chose 4K 60fpsI choose 3.5 mm jack, better still photos and spen..
The comments are downright hilarious. It's not the phones camera prowess speaking, it's everyone's fanboyism. Both are good with their own pros and cons. Gsma did it the right way. Now stop fanboyism and admit the weakness of your beloved brands else they won't improve
Great job GSMarena , waiting for Pixel 2, Mate10 and iPhone X review 👌
Good one guys, side by side picture representation is awesome. I'd like to see more of that in future comparisons.
the iPhone 8 plus does a really good job... but it will be interesting to see how the iPhone x camera compares to the Samsung galaxy note 8 camera....
Good shootout guys as usual. How would Asus Zenfone 4 Pro stack up with these heavy shooters? Are u gonna review 4 Pro?
My God. Those day light shots from the Note 8 is the very reason why one will start to hate the typical over saturation! Reminds me of the photos I drew when I was like 10 with my newly gifted sketch pen sets! Pathetic to say the least. The Note however is the clear winner in low light. Its a tie. iPhone 8 significantly better in day time, Note 8 in much better in night time, video is iPhone's forte, front camera is Note 8's. ROFL.
