Your comment didnt even make sense. Obviously stock android still has more customizing and features. That wasnt the point. And it didnt change what they said.
Its everything the 2xl takes away, compromises, faults, and dramatically over charges... And all of you are blindly defending strongly like a religion.
SpiritWolf, 01 Nov 2017Finally a camera that's equal or can even beat Lumia 950/950XL camera. Still, 12 Mpx is a bit ... moreThat high resolution is the only big advantage the 950 has. It's not a god among camera phones.
These 12mp phones have had many advantages over it for a while. In focus, video, low light, and so on.
I handled it at bestbuy yesterday and it was disappointing af. The thick side bezels make it chunky and the screen is pretty bad. The blue shift is real and makes it feel like the cheap tn panel screens you get on ultra-low-end phones. I hate apple and avoid buying their products, but at least they don't have the stones to release something this bad...
Finally a camera that's equal or can even beat Lumia 950/950XL camera. Still, 12 Mpx is a bit too low pixel count for maximum detail. 20-23 Mpx should be standard.

So no, the day where you see Android becoming an iOS look-a-like is still years ahead. For hardware though, you're right.

Android was criticized for advantages of open source software and the features third party incorporated in it like file managers and stuff. Only for apple to open up it's ecosystem. Also nobody is defending this pixel. There is a small segment of Android users who like it. That's the true beauty of Android. You can get any manufacturers vision of Android on their phone. Stock happens to be pretty smooth while still offering more customisation than any iOS iteration. If you don't want that there always HTC sense, touchwiz, miui, hydrogen os, lineage, oxygen os and many more to name. Also even in land of stock there are many manufacturers making phones eg Nokia and Motorola and stuff. Also I'm happy with my momentum earbuds which comfortably fit in a 3.5 mm Jack on my device
Google should release 3 phones next year: a Pixel 3 XL, a regular sized Pixel 3, and a Pixel 3 Compact/Mini (4.5" screen if it has big bezels like the regular Pixel, or 5" if it will have small bezels but with same specs as the regular sized Pixel). They can steal market share from Apple and other Android brands on the compact segment of the market.

Google & nearly every droid phone maker, being fully aware of the situation and being in total control, have decided that the most pure/clean/smooth Android experience is basically REMOVING all the features that made Android different/superior over the years.
Basically following Apple's formula of business!
Whose the copycat now huh??
But wait... theres more. The best part of it all, is how the android fanboys & google groupies here are defending this, badly made, overpriced hardware... just like how Apple fanboys did with their "inferior, overpriced" iPhones right? As you droidfans would say :D
Oh the sweet, sweet IRONY!
Never thought I'd see the day Android becomes the new Apple.
These days, I can practically take any flame on Apple and replace it with Android and it'll actually be relevant LOL!
welcome to the dark side, new sheeps
DangerousDroid, 31 Oct 2017Battery life is a shame ...It manages to beat the mate 10 with a battery that is about 10% smaller.
Anonymous, 31 Oct 2017Taking pictures using beauty mode turned on and wondering where the details are. Why would they take light box photos with beauty mode on?
CM3, 01 Nov 2017iPhones have wireless charging now. Also, they've always had fantastic displays. Compared to other LCD Displays : yes.
Compared to AMOLED Displays : no.
IÂ’m really sad where Google went with itÂ’s Nexus, ehm, Pixel lines. They cut done on features yet hiked up the price. No Wireless charging anymore, no headphone jack, no stock Android, priced at over twice that than the latest also LG Nexus that had them all. I know itÂ’s a very niche product, but I canÂ’t help but be sad and look back to their good years of the past.
Additionally, I canÂ’t believe the Dxo labs scored the camera so well. The sensor is a downgrade, which you can see by the noise and loss of detail on 100% preview. All of the niceness comes from the software, itÂ’s generated, not captured. IÂ’m not sure how I feel about that, as I would much rather simply have a better sensor. Shooting exclusively in HDR also sounds so wrong.
By the time GSMA's review had come, all sorts of issues plagued Google's latest and greatest flagships. They already had supply issues with last years Pixels and it got extra issues in Pixel 2's to deal with. Eager to see how Google does the damage control.

You see, smartphones these days give their ma... moreEvery organization out there does business for profits not for charity. They have every right to price their products accordingly to get profits for the company's present and future costs. No body sells any product at its manufacturing costs. That's same with OnePlus also. You can see where it started with OP1 and where it is now with OP5 or upcoming 5T. But at the end of the day, Samsung and Apple never put a restriction that everyone should buy their products only if one wants to have a smartphone, right? It's your money, your wish. You want and capable to buy a flagship, then buy it. If not there are options for every price range. Or you can wait for 6 months or till the said flagship's price falls. If you have a tendency to buy latest and greatest the moment it arrives, you are the one at loss.
