What about Moto C Plus? Nobody talks about Moto C Plus. It's better and cheaper that Nokia 2.
Force Majeure, 11 Nov 20175" with pisspoor SoC, I'd rather buy a Wileyfox Swift with 410 and removable battery for about... moreAgreed, and for just a little more you could get the Swift 2 which has the Snapdragon 430, 2gb ram, 16gb rom, 13mp rear camera with phase detection auto focus, and 8mp front facing camera.
Ok so you loose a lot of battery when compared to the Nokia 2, but the Swift 2 is no slouch in that department, I know which IÂ’d go for.

Levy, 11 Nov 2017This phone checks all the boxes for a modern phone and I expect it to be a smashing success. Can’t speculate on whether it will be a success or not, but I’d argue that it actually ticks very few boxes for a ‘modern phone’, even a budget one.
For starters itÂ’s rocking A7 processor cores, they are running the old 32-bit armv7 code. We are at the very end of 32-bit support now, Apple have completely dropped it and donÂ’t be surprised when Google shortly follow suit. So this device is not going to enjoy much in the way of future software support.
It might have made some sense in terms of performance as an Android one device, but as the hands on review suggests, itÂ’s just not up to providing a fluid full Android experience.
There are simply better specÂ’d devices available and this price point (or just slightly above it), this is just a one trick pony that offers good battery potential. As I have already stated though, the Moto E4 Plus offers an even bigger battery and much better overall specs (including fingerprint scanner) for just slightly more money.
Even the standard Moto E4, which matches this for price is an arguably better option.
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2017Nokia should try to take market share by giving good specifications at affordable price. They ... moreThis is not possible.
Just think about how many salaries they must pay between Foxconn and Nokia Technologies. Not to mention additional royalties for using Nokia's name. A huge overhead reflected in end user price.
at first I thought they were two evil companies, applle and sammy, turn out nokia become more greedy than both.
Even for a first time smartphone user, using this phone will result in nothing short of a disappointment. The alternatives are just way superior.
With Xiaomi options and other brands in the market with more powerful phones and better cameras at the same price... release this crap and pretend that people is as blind to buy this is almost an insult. Hope they flop hard and reconsider what to design in the future with better consideration for its potential customers.
akw, 11 Nov 2017LTPS IPS is just a joke MEME ... look at the colors it seems even worse than TFTLOL at your noobness.. The screen looked washed out because the camera is overexposing it.. The fact the screen is brighter than the scenery therefore if the camera exposure is metered for the screen the hand and the scenery will be dark.. Checkout the comparison side by side Nokia 2 and Xiaomi video on Youtube and you will see why xiaomi is cheap with their cheap display.. Nokia does provide the best display across all their product range
Good phone, this Nokia 2. Maybe they could have used a 4xx series Snapdragon. Battery endurance must be great. I hope GSMA will give it a full review.
It could be competing with the Moto E4 Plus, although that is a step above in all aspects including price.
BTW, the photographer of those camera samples must be very good. He has gotten the best photos out of a limited camera.

Not really sure what Nokia is hoping for with this one. The Moto E4 Plus ups pretty much every spec point over the 2, and only for a marginally higher price point.
The E4 Plus gives you an even bigger battery, better processor, double the internal storage, triple the ram and better cameras, all for less than half as much again. Also It's available in those emerging markets that the 2 is aimed at
So again this 2 seems like it's completely outclassed on arrival.
leo R, 11 Nov 2017Because it is cheap matte plastic. The keyword here is CHEAP.I'm not convinced Nokia/HMD would have gone with "cheap plastic", given their heritage, focus on quality materials and builds AND the small price difference. Nor am I convinced ANY matte plastic is a fingerprint and smudge-magnet.
Nokia should try to take market share by giving good specifications at affordable price. They can raise the price later with different models. It's a model Chinese follows. Nokia will not gain any market share with this low specs device.
Lightning McQueen, 11 Nov 2017I think most of the photos are shot at East Coast Park. Hmm, if I was there at the beach yeste... moreI think if they make a review they will already done around a week back, then the following days after that they edit it and type out their impressions and combine all the aspects to make it into a review. This is the first time I seen them taking photos that are from Singapore, since there is nothing nice to take here if u already take all of the beautiful sceneries here, I would prefer going overseas to take more beautiful photos than here man!
