My Samsung U600 do not want to accept year 2017 in time settings. It ends at 31.12.2016. it is pitty - device is still working perfectly and looks like a phone used for 2-3 months. Battery still lasts 3 days. The only drawback is that it uses another version of Samsung slim port.

a correction: it can play mp3 in the background, but only if you set it to "music player overrides other sounds: ON". then, when you press back, it continues playing. the side buttons now control the music volume, thank god.

i have had this phone for 11 months, im on a 18 month contract, im fead up of this phone, it breaks 2 easy, and it has a rubbish memory with out the sd card, the battery runs out in like 1 day, i want i new phone!!! this one is useless

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2007does any one knows how to use it like a flashlight? To use it as a flash light, u have to slide it open and then press and HOLD the middle of the volume keys on the side of the phone.

khyam, 22 Aug 2008can anybody pls tell me how to zoom pictures in my photos foder or favurite images folder????Basically, once u enlarge the pic, u see that on the side there's like a magnifying glass and a plus or a minus. To zoom, you use the volume keys on the side of your phone :)

this phone is amazing!!! i have had it for abot 2 months now and nothing has gone wrong with it. it is slim and available in different colors. not only that, but it is also FILLED with cool functions. whoever is thinking of buying this phone, i say go for it!!!

I am looking for the samsung u600 with greek characters in the gold/bronz color ASAP is there anywhere or anyone that could help me out?? I live in California but I need my cell phone to type text messages and function overall in Greek

Features missing, bugs (my opinion after 6 months of use)
-Can't synch properly with Outlook (Greek), purchased in Greece, to be used by Greek natives
-Only uses caps in Greek
-Headphone connector not standard
-Should have voice command/dial, to operate without opening or with bt handsfree
- Camera takes way to long to take photo

I had this phone for mths now. It's OK I would say. But many of my friends interest with it since it's so slim. But I think it's a bit TOO slim.

GSM arena , i appreciate ur effort in churning out this rich review of the phone i intend to buy soon . But am not satisfied with the photos taken with the camera . You could have provided more pictures , but i think its just the problem with the particular handset u reviewed . Can u please post more pictures taken with the phone with another good set . Please so that i can get a clear idea of its camera capabilities . And also i am confused about its music quality and sound , the reviewers at mobile-review suggest that its better than the 2nd edition walkman phones but i guess you people disagree with that ? Can you compare and give a better idea about its loudness and quality compared to walkman phones , i mean any particular walkman phone ?
I am so eager to get a satisfactory reply from the editors of the review .

I've had this phone for about 2 months. Think it's relatively alright except for the fact that battery runs out rather quickly if you're an avid music listener. Also, I still haven't figured out how to transfer games and themes into this phone so that bothers me quite a bit too. Other than that, the U600 is a good phone, nice to hold and is as stylish as it's made out to be :)
