This ideas ar great, showing the long term use if a device through daily scenarios.
Regarding the Pixel... it may have have all the better and smooth experience but in a trend of 18:9 18.5:9 or even a 19.5 it's way back and it's a major setback. That's a imersive experience, coming back to the good old 16:9 wouldn't cut it anymore

The very fact that gsmarena had to address and acknowledge so many of the problems and issues in this review reported by owners about the pixel 2XL is reason enough not to buy for $1300 here in Canada... I'll wait for the oneplus6....

This kind of articles are a fantastic idea. I wish you had done one for the LG G4 before I bought that dud.
I still wish Google would try to follow Samsung's way instead of Apple's way, but that is the way it is nowadays.
