After read this review, I still feel lucky having my Redmi Note 3 Pro.
I would like to see a performance comparison against the Redmi Note 3 with SD650. We all know the Note 4 was lacking in the SoC department. Both CPU and GPU were considerably weaker on the Note 4 (SD625) va Note 5. Is the Note 5's GPU faster than the Note 3's?

Agree with closing statement, MIUI is really good in the old days since android doesnt even have blacklist and extra feature is always nice, but today MIUI actually crippled a lot of basic feature in android it kind of stupid to choose MIUI over stock now.
Camera not bad. EIS recording is better than some flagships. Furthermore, it is not expensive. Good phone.
AnonD-519716, 21 Feb 2018No battery life rating? There's no rating for hands on reviews. Wait for the full review for detailed battery life, sound and display ratings.
MIUI got a bit of a refresh with Limitless theme in MIUI 9, over the classic (boring) one which you seem to have enabled during review.

Nice specs.. looks like the usual good overall quality from Xiaomi. But those bezels are so ugly.
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2018The best $220 phone with ANTUTU score ~"113000" so far. Great job Xiaomi.. Even samsung,... moreNot really, old Mi Max Prime archives similar score & on the outgoing it whose only a tad pricier but that whose a year ago. Tho RN5 Pro is a better buy now.

It works very good with Neutron, old Power Amp beta whose also capable of using it's full capacity but I didn't like results either.
Surprised to see the audio quality section missing in the review. Mi has been disabling the hifi audio capabilities of the Snapdragon chips (Qualcomm Aqstic Audio) for some unknown reason. These chips support 24bit/192khz audio but is being disabled by Xiaomi.
Coming to the review there is no mention of the audio quality which is otherwise an essential part of GSMArena reviews. Any particular reason??
