Is w960 upgradeable to make it faster??
I've got a W950. I haven't used the stylus in about 3 months. You can get to any command you like by using your finger and the scroll wheel. You only need to use 2 hands if you're a bit of a div.
looks nice
"as mentioned the phone will get slower is the memory is full(hate it"
Basically All smartphones: be it S60 or UIQ can have this traumatic Lags. even PC does! actually the reason why GSMArena had mentioned this fact was because they have tried the transfer speed of the W960 in syncing tracks to fill up the whooping 8Gb in just minutes!
Good Review!
Ow man, i thought W960 would look more exclusive or maybe stylish, but it turned out to be a cheap-looking plastic made phone!!! I am satisfied with the function and features, just the design is bugging me! I expected to have a nice-looking, latest walkman phone, but I think I will go for N95 8gb. Hate the plastic stylus, the light of keypad, no HSDPA, as mentioned the phone will get slower is the memory is full(hate it), lousy picture quality(hope to improve) and so and so! SE, please make some changes to W960! CHEERS to NO 1 SE fan, ME, using K810 and W610!!!
post the damm pictures...
at 1024 even motorola picture look good.
even they are not final the final won't get much better!
I think there is point of comparing the P1 and W960. Hardware wise, both are the the same (except the keypad layout. There is even no special dedicated audio chip mentioned making the w960 a real music phone. its all in the music player that they differ and the keypad. Thats it. both even has megabass.
In fact, it doesnt mean that if an accountant will bring w960 makes him a less accoutant, or if he brings p1 will attract client. The 2 handsets are almost identical. its like comparing nokia n81 8GB and the n81 with the memory slot.
Comparing the W960 with P1 is insanely dumb, especially if you think the prices are comparable.
One key feature the W960 has that the P1 completely lacks is:
8 GB Harddrive
If you think a 8 GB HDD is no big deal then fine, buy the P1.
But don't try to compare the two phones.
They have different target groups anyway so I see no point in comparing the two.
when this phone come on the mark. whats the price of this phone and in wich price can i get it for sail again. thats all
P1i or W960? the only aspect where the W960 betters the P1i is the music player. the p1's kindda suck!
But with a touch screen which is flush with the rest of the body, mind the scratches.
The P1 has a screen set deeper in the body and allows for a screen protector, which if used in a W960, would peel off easily.
Besides, P1i has a better battery life.
The truth is though, I wanted the W960 myself. But had to settle for a P1 as the W960 took so long to release. Seeing the 'live' pictures from GsmArena, am not so enthusiastic about it anymore.
The advert pics were really really cool. Not as lovely in real life.
Im confused is this a touch screen phone where you can use your fingers to navigate around the phone or do you have to use the stylus like a proper 'business' phone ?
the best phone ever?
after all this is just look similiar like p1i. this mobile just look alike p1 revolution. perhaps p1 even better then its features plus the price. i already knew the multimedia function on this phone is "abnormal", because i know there's no perfect on mobile world.
still i love p1 more then this, because p1 is really good on application and the price is so so so so damnnnn....fair
Wish this is an affordable phone.even if it isnt then also i'll sell my house and buy it.Best phone ever made!!!!
anybody know if W960 is compatible with MSN?
omfg!!!!
the best phone ever
Might be a stupid question... but can you not text using the keypad?
