Spent all this time to develope that AI, but couldnt do a simple software tweak to the mixer_paths.xml file to enable both speakers for media playback.
Just an AI based camera app is not enough to justify a whole new edition, imo.
I actually prefer the photos on the V30 overall. Some on the V30S have slight fuzz going on.

The screen isn't going to be an issue, and you get a phone that is still fast after two years, has a great camera, fingerprint sensor on the front and a lovely display.
New camera software looks worse to me.
I'm not a fan of brightened pictures.
Also the reviewer said underexposed, I thought it was called overexposed
It does have a more reliable exposure meter, that's a big plus. I would go for the new one.
Still 2.2 with the selfie isn't that good. From a flagship I would expect less than f1.9.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2018Al itÂ’s mobile chipset not a camera software.Lol
It's entirely software and it's coming to the V30 in an OTA update

Panino Manino, 04 Mar 2018It should be, but it's not. Same Asus's bullshit with AI everything.Heh? Have auto adjusting voice volume and controling the full night charge and you call it BS? Duh. AI is not bad as you think.
LG superfan, 05 Mar 2018Yeah its his choice but seriously I wont try flashing something that is new and cost $900I didn't flash custom rom on s8, but on s6 with features from s8. I have s6 almost 3 years, and first rom i flashed was last year when i lost warranty and Samsung stoped supporting s6 with android updates. With custom rom i get all software features that s8 have. If i didn't done that i would need to pay for new phone that costs 750$ to get some fancy gimmicks. Do i need to upgrade to new phone every year or spend one day to get software that already needed to be on s6?
Dear GSM Arena Team: USE A TRIPOD!
Seeing pictures of your reviewer fumbling with two phones in his hands and claiming to make a camera comparison is not confidence inspiring. Go buy some cheap dash board mounts and at least rig a monopod and make sure you use some kind of remote shutter trigger to fire the cameras at the same time.

I seriously fail to see a difference. If you want just use a photo editing app afterwards and you got yourself an RI doing the job, real intelligence, yourself.
This is nothing else than an add on, the camera was already great as it was.

LG superfan, 04 Mar 2018Buy S6 or Note5 you got a great device with great camera or Honor 9/8/8 ProS6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+ and Note 5 are still pretty expensive here in my country. And I'm not a fan of devices with no SD Card Slot. I have my own SD Card for very important files, while internal storage is only for apps and some unimportant things.
I was also considering those devices at the beginning, but I've made up my mind to get the S7 Edge.
But its screen ratio might be outdated in the near future (18:9 is spreading easily).
For that, I'm considering the LG G6+ (I want the Quad DAC and 64GB storage) but damn, it's a hella expensive device still!
Guess mid rangers like the Mate 10 Lite and Redmi 5 Plus are the only options for me. My old LG G4 was fantastic, hence why I want to keep it.
