Huawei ,you just lost a fan of yours for following Apple's designs.This could've been a perfect phone WITHOUT that notch.I really liked Huawei a lot up until this point.I would have made this my next phone but not gonna happen .

According to The Verge the main camera doesn't have OIS. Only the 80mm camera.

on sunny days the 40MP is probably awe... moreTest scenes were too dark... Is broad daylight. Is just slightly cloudy.
Google right now "Nokia 1020 cloudy photo" or whatever and be sure to download the full 41MP resolution.
Then compare the amount of noise.

The p20 plus is almost the perfect phone for me. The amazing camera, great screen, big battery, large storage with sd card slot, waterproofing and great design. Only thing that could make this better is a headphone jack and a more stock experience

Get over it that's the trend now, but again Apple, Samsung, or google pixel can't come close as of now to that triple camera of Huawei. I think you should know that and that's innovation, and if it's not innovation you can name for me any other company that uses triple camera setup with a wooping 40mp!!

tonymancs, 27 Mar 2018Is that really a 1/1.7" 40MP sensor? Because it's nowhere close to Nokia 808 even at ISO 50.Though 40mp is beast, multiframe processing of that is maybe impossible. High iso and AIS probably make use of many pixels to shoot 10mp in low light. Not using separate image processor as 808 or xz2 makes a big difference. Should be next thing on their must do list together with that stacking.

Hope there is a cheaper variant of Mate RS without Porsche design cause that phone is a beauty especially black one its probably the first black I like after Note3

my almost 7 months old Nokia 8 has SD 835, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0(!!!!), a fantastic audio recording during video shooting and a QHD display with Cornig Gorilla Glass 5 which is placed on the phone in the most humanly possible way without any notches or overly tall screens.....

I hope that gsmarena will review the compatibility with Android Auto...As this incompatibility is still not solved in Huawei models.

HFK, 27 Mar 2018So much noise.... No use to have 40MP for that amount of noise....the test scenes were too dark for 40MP on this sensor.
on sunny days the 40MP is probably awesome, and you use the other one for darker scenes...
