M... moreWrong. The correct answer is: customers are too stupid to buy last years model.
Nokia first came up with this technique with its symbian phone: they would launch a flagship and then a year or two later relaunch most of that same phone in a cheaper body with a different name.

This is the opening statement of the review:
"Yesterday’s high-end is the new midrange we like to say. The Nokia C6 has almost exactly the same features as the Nokia N97 mini but hangs a big Sale sign. Time to shop for high-end features off high street."
The old Nokia had been doing this for quite some time then. Customers just need a new look and a new name. If you don't believe me, then check ebay or any online market in your country and look at the prices for old flagships still available. And then try convincing someone to buy one of those instead of a mid range phone.
An old flagship is better 9.99 times out of 10, but no one wants to buy it.
I myself have bought from ebay Xperia Z1, HTC One (M8) and LG G3 for 110-130 usd each withing the last 1 year. I don't think anything at this price point can beat these 3 in terms of power, picture and build quality and speaker performance. What else is there to beat them at? And at this price point its not even a mid range (that would be the Z5 or XZ). At this price, those Leagoo and Doggee and those garbage look expensive with their 80 usd price tags

So much opinion I don't get here:
- Comparing a smartphone 1 year older while one of the selling argument of Nokia is 3 years of security update...
- Comparing a smartphone 1 year older cause it's the same price... i one year this one will be 2/3 to 1/2 its current price
- Ok it's not as efficient as the S630 but it won't have a bigger maximum consumption than the S835
Its building quality seems on par with the current Nokia, the CPU is more than good enough, it will run 2 days without charging, Nokia provides you update quickly and longer than you might keep your phone.
Some people want a premium phone, good in every aspect, designed by a company which respects its customer, recent and it doesn't need to be a flagship.
If Nokia could just make a Nokia 7 (non plus) with same spec/build and a 5.2" (let's be crazy 5") screen up to 350€...

SD 660 and SD 630 are based on 14 nm for sure but SD660 has 4 A73 + 4 A53 cores while SD630 has all A53 cores. And according to ARM A53 is more power efficient but also delivers less power compared to similarly clocked and fabricated A73.

Plus, you're hardly sacrificing everything when you're gaining a better camera, larger battery, better aesthetics and almost certainly better headphones.

SD 660 is a powerful processor built on 14nm and results are more or less in line with other SD 660 based phones . you can compare results ..
SD 835 and SD 845 are built on 10nm so they are built on more efficient process hence the power consumption of them isnt very high than what could have been on same 14nm even though they are a lot more powerful

With Google cam app the results are significantly better .. Check 7 plus review on YouTube

Somehow it seems incomplete for this asked price. Don't get me wrong, N7+ has his strenghts, but imho ~300 € is the right price for this model. I was expecting 100+ endurance rating, better photo and audio quality, louder sound but you don't allways get what you want.

People who comparing N7+ with other phones often forget that this will support you with 2 years major updates and 3 years security updates. If you don't own a device only for a year then your options are very limited at this price point. With pixel camera app it takes way better pic than its own (YouTuber Damir Franc video).

Biased review? Phone is pretty solid actually. 3.8 may be a bit low. And please stop advertising notch phones as an alternative. Almost nobody wants a poor and ugly design choice.
