Heck, even the daylight shots in the P20 and P20 Pro are virtually the same on terms of quality. The P20 Pro is just overhyped.

You're right, the P20 in daylight is better than P20Pro, and the night mode generates more consistent results. It may lose in auto mode at night and lacks the 3x zooming.

If you hate it then go for a new lens. Plus, how could you say Mate 10 > P20 Pro? It has a much bigger sensor.

The phone also comes with a pre installed glas screen protector. All of which costs extra with Samsung or Apple.

DxOMark? Don't make us laugh - recent DxOMark scores have been crazy - they just don't test the right things, and in the real world. P20 Pro photos are over-processed, over-sharpened and much lower IQ than industry leaders in the camera phone world.

I dont understand why the night photos for the S9 weren't also taken in pro mode. The auto mode jacks up the ISO WAY too high for night time photos...which is why theyre so noisy. In pro mode you can keep the ISO in check and lower the shutter speed. Better exposed photos and less noise. The nighy time photos they took really don't do the Galaxy S9 camera any justice. My experience is based on using the S7 Edge, Note 7 and Note 8.
