Helio P60 was targetted by Mediatek as a budget upper midrange performance SoC in which having a performance that rivals that of SD660 though having performance slightly lower than that of SD counterpart. At Oppo f7 21,990Php price point the competitors were:
1. Mi Note 3 6/64GB with SD660 15,990Php
2. Mi6 6/64GB with SD835 20,999Php
3. Nokia 7 Plus with SD660 23,699Php
Comparing to the only the price of the Mi Note 3, I don't see why I would opt with P60 F7 smartphone and I don't see the "budget" upper midrange price either. And talking on the performance side? Nokia 7 Plus beats the F7 on benchmarks and surely the Mi6 with SD835 will trash that P60 Oppo F7 of yours and still having a lower price. Helio P60 should only be viable option when priced just slightly above the Mi Note 3. I would not want to buy a midrange phone if there's a more powerful flagship at a lower price available.
And don't talk about company issues because Mediatek has done more violations in development community than any smartphone SoC manufacturer still alive today.

I have this phone it's not bad only no have fast vooc charging and camera dim light are not good

About heating? You think A73 at 2.2 in 14nm on 660 (samsung 14nm equal to tsmc 16nm) heats less than A73 at 2.0ghz in 12nm? Really?
See heating comparison video at MWC (competitors are 660 and 835).
You won't do it, because people that have premade opinions aren't curious!
Mediatek throttle less often than Snapdragon.
If you talk about X20, try it for real, it is able to run all his cores at full speed during more than 10 minutes, not only 810 isn't able to, but 805, 808, 652, 650 can't too.
I would see 845, they increase perfs with the same 10nm process + A75 that are bigger + higher frequency...I haven't any doubt about P60, you should have some about 845!
I don't want any soc from a company that was condamned several time for unfair commercial behavior!
+ Their so called "semi-custom" Kryo 260/280 cores are nothing more than the 4A73+4A53 configuration you can find on P60...
How Qualcomm can be a so overated company!
Some here even compare P60 to 430!

Anonymous, 09 May 2018I wonder how some Oppo and Vivo devices cost more than OPOppo R15 Pro and Vivo X21 UD are their flagship like phones. (Though they are still midrange "upper level")
They are more expensive than current OnePlus' phones.

Buy Oppo, Vivo expensive phones around 300+ USD and still no fast/ quick charging, not good sensitive touch etc. things. I bought it one time and it's not upto the mark with what you spend. Only camera good but that too not good enough in low light. Not recommend to buy Oppo, Vivo over priced phones ..

Youtube reviews also shows benchmarks that were below SD660. So on performance side, its no match for the SD660. Now look at the price point where this phone was targetted. Its current price would fall above the current price of Mi Note 3 6/64GB (SD660) and on or even above the current price of Mi6 6/64GB (SD835) territory. So if it's performance that you want, then why not opt for the SoC that really performs?

Chin doesn't bother me and it's usefull! Look at iPhone X keyboard : they were forced to add a dead zone under it...it's software chin! Apple should better work on horrible 4.25mm side bezels!
About performances of P60, you don't test it! Gsmarena does and said to you it is on par with s660...maybe you should read the test carefully instead of having false premade opinion when you read "Mediatek"
And fortunately for Qualcomm, there aren't AI test for the moment! Dedicated AI on P60 is probably 3 or 4 time better than s660's or s835's heterogeneous multiprocessing (old helio X20 feature!).
Agree with you about the lack of fast charging...maybe about lack of 4k recording when P60 is able too.
Some forgotten features are hard to understand for the price, but not chin and performances.

Thanks for the review gsm arena.... Wow very strong CPU numbers, faster than sd660 wow....gpu is also strong, thanks oppo.. and got plastic back for a lot better LTE reception even in low signal reception!!!!

The main disadvantage of buying this phone for càmera is that in potrait mode the edges are really not properly recognized it get blured..because it lacks a secondary depth senscing camera which at such a high price shoild be made available.... So my reveiw of buying oppof7 is totally a waste of money instead i would insist of buying vivo v9..
