YoloBS, 29 May 2018Does this phone have led notification?nooooooooooo
They might be selling at cost with no profit. But how many units? No one knows.. atleast xiaomi sells in hundreds of thousands we know. And on amazon oppo is marketing tge 6gb variant of realme 1. Which is at inr 14k . So they are making profit out of the 6gb variant. The 3gb variant is only for show i guess
MG7, 28 May 2018oppo f7 with similar battery, larger screen and same chipset has higher battery endurance. Som... moreSometimes inferior components paired with same good SOC can give average battery compared to oppo f7 which has higher grade components which are more efficient and better optimized by oppo, realme 1 is an experimental device at best to make budget buyers talk about thier brand for future sales , some of these realme customers might end up buying higher range oppo phones in futures slowly making them brand loyal, it is all psychology and marketing behavior combined.
Poor & Dull display is a trade mark of Oppo
Thats why im a big fan of Xiaomi cuz MiA1 is king of Mid range devices
Kiyasuriin, 28 May 2018While I am quite surprised for mere 500 ILS (130$) you can grab such a monster. I could easily... moreU must mean SD 636? 630 is nothing but a higher clocked 625 with a slightly better GPU and no match for P60.
I found it strange that when u r testing the 6GB 128GB version which costs $200 u were comparing it to Redmi Note 5 Plus instead of Note 5 Pro. U said in the performance section that Note 5 Pro costs twice as much but in truth 4GB/64GB version of Note 5 Pro is $220 so it's only fair game to comapre that to the version u tested.
Anonymous, 28 May 2018Real bargain indeed. Os updates 6 month and then end? That could be a way to save a lot of money...Most people with a life who are going to buy this don't really care about updates till it works..

What's now, Xiaomi??
On a more serious note,
Oppo's ability to offer a Helio P60 at this price point should give Xiaomi also the capability to offer at least a SnapDragon 636 for a slightly higher price tag with their Redmi 5 Plus.
I was expecting an overpriced phone but oppo surprised me
MG7, 28 May 2018Good work gsmarena for reviewing this device in time.Salty
Oppo will made a good profit by selling few million units.
Asus Zenfone max at just INR2000 or $30 more gives bigger battery, better screen, better cameras with EIS coming in future update and fingerprint sensor. But it has blend metal plastic design than realme and no face unlock neither AI and inferior selfies.

oppo f7 with similar battery, larger screen and same chipset has higher battery endurance. Sometimes battery testing gives strange results.
