My Note 8 is $960-980, S9+ is $950, OP6 is $600. iPhone X is between $1250 - $1450. OP6 had almost everything others have minus wireless charging! It comes with a case and screen guard applied! OP6 is neither CHEAP nor SUPER Expensive. It will be tricky for them when their portfolio grows and when they need to support devices across generations with various OS versions, hardware, carrier support etc...
When new wave starts (foldable, hologram, gaming mobiles) these small timers lose their engine. You get NIL support and serviceable parts. That's why we pay premium for brands. But Huawei without any of these (in my region) trying to play Samsung!
Anonymous, 11 Jun 2018C'mon man, notch on that phone looks way different. It's obvious everyone is copying style of ... moreim not a typical fanboy of Oneplus lol, i own several android phones including Samsung Notes and S Series, LG, Nexus, Huawei P20, etc. But i just don't like Apple products, especially iOS. OnePlus's OP3,3T, 5T and even 6 are great phones. I've had great experiences using them so far. Notch even though it looks different, it's still introduced by Essential. Apple copied several things off android too. I think copying has become so mainstream that it doesn't matter anymore as long as one does it better than the other.
Jan, 13 Jun 2018its 519EURYep,mate,but on their site this one (8/128GB) is 569euro,plus shiping, some proper case(not original, they look great but are too expensive) and some glass protection for the display....
Unbeatable value? At 600euro????If you shop around, especially in the U.S.,you`ll very soon realize that you can get ALL of the top-dog competitors for that $$$.I respect Oneplus as a company from their start, but it seems to me they`ve lost it lately...Flagship killer? Not anymore.1+6 is a flagship device, but for the same flagship price like everybody else...A year ago I found 1+3t from Aliexpress for about 350euro,shipping incl.and no tax for EU.This new one is 600,and what`s better about it,SD845 aside? And the looks...same shite as any Vivo,Oppo...and all the other notch/generic "designs"..it`s a shame for 1+.Great device, but now with a huge price...
these tests never tell you how good mics are at video recording at concert,,I have had some right rubbish audio in past and don't trust these companies.
AnonD-747469, 12 Jun 2018Xiaomi mix 2s is much better than Oneplus 6, still all the hype? But it isn't available worldwide, OS on OnePlus is way better and you get warranty with the OnePlus.

Geric.770, 12 Jun 2018Are you even trying? Essential Phone was the first ever smartphone to feature the Notch. Yeah and remember how no one cared when essential did it, but as soon as Apple does it, the whole industry does it too?
Try to charge it with an other brand of charger ... no go on the 5T.
Having this problem made me realise that the afterservice is sooooooooo bad, i never buy an OPO phone again. Far from that, nice phones and i like the UI the most of all.
YoloBS, 12 Jun 2018Open you're eyes. Everyone is copying iphone style notch. I was talking about who's the first company to introduce the Notch.
Yes, Apple loves it so much that even the Chinese people want to copy it without fear of being copystriked.

networkdood, 09 Jun 2018A lot of extra curricular activities with this review - sarcasm, facetiousness, etc. It is as ... moreFor a phone of this price, $529 and above, many features are noteworthily left out.
OnePlus even added a glass back to this phone, so why is there no wireless charger?
The phone is at least somewhat waterproof, so why not put an IP rating and cover it under warranty?
The phone has near-stock Android, so why not go one step further and make it Android One?
OnePlus is owned by a huge company with breakthrough devices (vivo NEX), so why not get rid of the notch and stop copying other OEMs? (Apple front, Samsung back)
The phone has a fast processor, more than enough RAM, and 4K60 video recording, so why sell a 64GB version without microSD slot?
Battery life is extremely important, so why does a new phone have worse battery than both of its predecessors, and even other phones with the same capacity and screen size (LG V30, Galaxy S8+/S9+)?
It has a dual camera, so why not make the second lens actually do something useful other than "enhance portrait shots"?
The answer is because OnePlus wants to make a thick, fat profit margin by selling a phone that has no unique qualities and a severe lack of features by copying designs from bigger companies, slapping a fast processor and RAM into it to look good in benchmarks, and then selling it for $100-150 less than a truly great phone.
Shame on them.
