As a device it's excellent..awesome touch feeling..camera quality is superb.best phone who love to play games..sound quality mind blowing
Beside I have few complains..
1. heating issue
2.doesnt restore data.
3.slow motion..very bad quality..complete screen flickers..screen become very dark..completely disappointed.

My Note 8 is $960-980, S9+ is $950, OP6 is $600. iPhone X is between $1250 - $1450. OP6 had almost everything others have minus wireless charging! It comes with a case and screen guard applied! OP6 is neither CHEAP nor SUPER Expensive. It will be tricky for them when their portfolio grows and when they need to support devices across generations with various OS versions, hardware, carrier support etc...
When new wave starts (foldable, hologram, gaming mobiles) these small timers lose their engine. You get NIL support and serviceable parts. That's why we pay premium for brands. But Huawei without any of these (in my region) trying to play Samsung!

It's obvious everyone is copying style of ... moreim not a typical fanboy of Oneplus lol, i own several android phones including Samsung Notes and S Series, LG, Nexus, Huawei P20, etc. But i just don't like Apple products, especially iOS. OnePlus's OP3,3T, 5T and even 6 are great phones. I've had great experiences using them so far. Notch even though it looks different, it's still introduced by Essential. Apple copied several things off android too. I think copying has become so mainstream that it doesn't matter anymore as long as one does it better than the other.

Unbeatable value?At 600euro????If you shop around,especially in the U.S.,you`ll very soon realize that you can get ALL of the top-dog competitors for that $$$.I respect Oneplus as a company from their start,but it seems to me they`ve lost it lately...Flagship killer?Not anymore.1+6 is a flagship device,but for the same flagship price like everybody else...A year ago I found 1+3t from Aliexpress for about 350euro,shipping incl.and no tax for EU.This new one is 600,and what`s better about it,SD845 aside?And the looks...same shite as any Vivo,Oppo...and all the other notch/generic "designs"..it`s a shame for 1+.Great device,but now with a huge price...

these tests never tell you how good mics are at video recording at concert,,I have had some right rubbish audio in past and don't trust these companies.

Geric.770, 12 Jun 2018Are you even trying? Essential Phone was the first ever smartphone to feature the Notch. Yeah and remember how no one cared when essential did it, but as soon as Apple does it, the whole industry does it too?

Try to charge it with an other brand of charger ... no go on the 5T.
Having this problem made me realise that the afterservice is sooooooooo bad, i never buy an OPO phone again. Far from that, nice phones and i like the UI the most of all.
