I seriously don’t get why I bought three of the red I note 5 but only one of them has developers settings the other two doesn’t have.

I seriously like this phone , and I already ordered it on aliexpress.com (the 4 gigs varient) ,but the thing is , I'm seriously concerned about the durability of this device , can it last 2 years if I don't drop it or break it myself ? or will it start going crazy after a few months of use ?
Xiaomi phones in general seem to be fine , but going for something new is always scary , and like most people , I don't have infinite money to buy a flagship phone so I am stuck with this price range , and this phone seemed like a perfect fit for me (even though I don't care about the camera, it seemed like a nice addition to a budget phone)
the review has taken everything into account , I have never seen such details in a review , so I would like to thank GSM arena for that.
can we solve the 3.5 audio jack problem with an app or a software update ? or is it a hardware problem?
also is this phone likely to receive an android 9.0 pie update ? I think it is because it is the latest phone of the "Redmi note" series but I'm not sure .
