I think I know what Samsung‘s strategy is:
The J5 becomes the A6
The A5 becomes the A8
They move up with the numbers and letters to make people think the phone is of much higher quality and status in samsung‘s Range than it actually is. They also did this with their entry 4K TVs this year, for example the 2016 KU6079 was followed by the MU6179 and the NU7179 this year.
In America, the MU6300 became the NU7100.

I agree with the reviewer...
underpower CPU & GPU.
This A series supposed to be good.
Samsung really needs to update their mid-range CPU, or they better to use Qualcom CPU.

One of the overpriced and worst smartphone on the 2018 market. I have no clue what comes in samsung mind with this thing. I would never recommend this phone, because there are much better out there with less price!

i was hoping for a better a3 this year.but even the screen to body ratio is not that great.75% on the a6.and i bet they will throw same processor and 1g of ram.

So they basically took last year's low end J model, did some minor changes and are trying to sell it as this year's mid-range for 50% more. Good luck with that, Samesung.

I still don't understand why Samsung treats the A line cheaply. At least offer a decent pro mode for your good cameras. No shutter speed no nothing, might as well call it modified auto.

Let me sum up the conclusion: This smartphone isn't suited for people who wants an upgrade, especially on the performance department. So to those people using older J series smartphones with EXYNOS 7870, if u want to find an upgrade, it is time to move on to another brand. Clearly, the best brands to choose low-end and mid-end smartphones are HUAWEI, XIAOMI, NOKIA and Motorola or even Sony too (Do tell me if I didn't mention some other brands). Pretty much, those who still wants to stick with SAMSUNG's budget smartphones with the same EXYNOS 7870 are those who just want to upgrade on the looks, that's all

For others you have a rating like maximum 3.5 or 4 stars but for Samsung you have nowhere mentioned it

With this specs price is on higher side
SD soc 636 models are available for more or less same price or even lesser price. Samsung should think it seriously and also take the competition more seriously from Honor and oppo vivo Lenovo
