specs say the mi a2 has an fm radio, but how do you use it without 3.5mm jack to act as an antennae?

No expandable storage and no headphone Jack?
I always thought of xiaomi devices as rivals or iPhone than replicas. For they offered what apple omitted.
Now they feel more of a replica with the A2

I love Samsung and I have been a loyal user for years now (since the original Galaxy Tab with voice calls/SMS, S7 Edge 128GB+128GB currently). I fell in love with Xiaomi's very affordable hardware strategy. Combine that with Google's pure stock Android OS. I really wanted to have my very own Mi A1 until now. And I'm glad Xiaomi released it's successor. I think I'll be an owner of my very own Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite very soon. Can't wait!

A2 lite:
- SD 625... moreOMG, are you really going to complain about these very capable processors on budget phones ? Remember the MiA2 will cost 250 Euro while the Lite version will only cost 150 €.
Believe me, you could get much worse than that, what about a Mediatek SoC? The SD660 was only found in 300 € devices and up, until now.
I think the 3.5mm jack and Micro SD slot are more notable omissions for the Mi A2, because budget conscious customers really care for those.

Why micro USB instead of USB-C for A2 lite?
Is it that much costly? It is a big drawback because people want a symmetrical connector and we are in 2018

I'll get one, but just to be clear, what we really wanted was the Redmi Note 5 in full metal, USB-C and NFC.
Maybe next year we'll be able to get something like that with a 632. I want a fully functioning phone first, then we can add ever greater speeds and camera.
